Get any of their “Fame” sandwiches! The Belt Buster has hot pastrami, corned beef, salami & Swiss cheese on a hero. The LIE Traffic Jam has London Broil with fried onions & steak sauce on a hero.

The food here is not good. I like my food fresh , And you won't get this here. I suggest you check our other food establishments on the avenue that actually have fresh food and soups every day. I stopped ordering here a long time a go. When their disgusting delivery driver who stinks of smoke was delivering food to me that was the final straw.

Returned to the old neighborhood and stopped by the Fame for breakfast. The place has not changed, a good breakfast for a good price. Coffee in a bottomless cup, my only negative is the home fries had a taste of boiled potato, had to doctor them up ( hot sauce, pepper, salt), but still edible. Good service, till next time ciao for now.

Very consistent for many years. Good food, good service. Clean. Just watch out in the winter months when waitresses come to work sick.

Slightly over priced and quality isnt as good as it used to be but then again isnt that the story with everything these days?! Fame has been a neighborhood diner forever so I'll always be a patron as long as I'm a resident of the town.

Went here today with a friend for brunch. We were seated in a very small booth, our table could barely fit our meals, very tight, next to a pick up counter which was very loud and annoying. Our waiter never refilled our waters, and we felt like we were being rushed. We asked our waiter to bring up coffee after our meal, he asks mid meal if we would like the coffee now? We reiterated again once we finish the food but we would like some more water after drinking our brunch mimosas (which had an odd taste to them). So we finally finished our food and ask the waiter for the coffee now and he still never brought the water. Moments later we ask for the check and he takes our coffees away from the table when they were still hot and half full not even asking if we finished our coffees. This really pissed me off Bc I really wanted to enjoy my coffee and he ruined it for me. Then he told my friend TWICE oh you can pay in the front. (Again rushing us out) We gave him a $5 tip but he definitely didn't deserve that. Highly disappointed- gave 2 stars instead of 1 Bc the food is half decent here but I doubt i will ever go back because of the service I experienced today.

This a family own joint, which has a friendly atmosphere. It's open 7 days a week. A great place for breakfast or lunch, even dinner. This was one of my late wife's favorite places to get a quick bite. Enjoy
