So, I popped into this place on my way back from Queens to Brooklyn. I was trying to wait out the traffic on the BQE. I had two eggs over medium, turkey bacon, home fries and toast. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do the pancakes but resigned to deciding once I finished the first segment of my meal. The waitress was very polite and conversational. I decided to go with the pancakes and I wasn’t disappointed. They are thick and fluffy and I recommend giving them a try. Very happy...

Finally, we found a great diner in Maspeth! I ordered the California omelet, and my son chose his usual Belgian waffle with bacon, as he does at every diner we visit. His only complaint was that the waffle was slightly dry, and the syrup did not taste like maple syrup. It seemed like a generic syrup. The waffle itself had a good flavor, but it could have been fluffier and served with the appropriate syrup.

All around excellent! Went there with my sister and niece today after googling “where is the best spot to grab a bite in Maspeth”

Food: great portions, great tasting
Service: above and beyond. Friendly and attentive without hovering!
Staff in general: what is the next step up from excellent? They have it there in spades!!
Recommend to everyone and anyone looking for a comfy, friendly atmosphere!
