We ordered take out due to the weather. What we received was a total disgrace. The Crispy Duck was fair at best but the Chilean Sea Bass ($32+) was an embarrassment. Two small pieces way overcooked and dry. I had ordered the mango sauce only to find out they substituted the black bean sauce. I called but the were in such a rush, the woman on the phone didn't care that they gave me a sauce I didn't ask for. She said the didn't have the mango sauce, they should have mentioned that when we ordered .For what we received for over $70.00, I could have gone to a regular Chinese take out and received a much better meal for cheaper.

The service was top notch. My pad Thai was great. My friend was not thrilled with his steak, but he's rarely thrilled with anything. The only ding that takes down from 5 stars is the portion size and cost. A> little< pricey for what you get considering the shopping center location.

HIDDEN GEM ALERT!The Omakase experience at Asian Moon is INSANE! Better than most NYC Omakase. The chefs really know their stuff and are super friendly. The seasonal menu makes it a unique experiences throughout the year. Cannot wait to go back.

Our favorite place on Long Island to eat. We went for the Omakase twice so far and plan to come here monthly. As far as most Omakase places go they're pretty affordable. The Food is amazing, seriously delicious and different every time so dinner is always fun. The chef is incredible, you can tell the chef loves what he does, he explains everything enthusiastically makes you feel welcome and like a friend the whole dinner and creates a very fun and exciting experience. The food being amazing is a plus I would come just for how amazing of a person the chef is alone. From start to finish it's such a fun experience, amazing ambience too. I will keep coming back here. Everything and everyone there is absolutely amazing. Must try on Long Island, better than omakase I've had in the city. I always thought I didn't like sushi or fish or was a picky eater but since trying Asian Moon & their Omakase there isn't anything I won't eat or won't try from here. I've never been disappointed or dislike anything. Loved every single course/dish/meal they serve.

Place doesnt miss. Omikase with the top dog chef is the truth. Best food best experience best interaction and he always got some whiskey for you. Very informative and fun. Bring friends bring ya lady and try as much as you can!

I have come here about four times in the past two years since moving to the area. In all those visits I find it hard to see how this restaurant isn’t rated even higher.Every time they have been nothing but nice, courteous, professional and great service. Their restaurant has an amazing chill lounge type atmosphere, beautiful decor, with their own original music playing.All the dishes we have ordered are always on the money, fresh and delicious. If I could make one criticism it would be their portions are slightly small. Thats being said we always leave their full, satisfied and happy,… just with no leftovers which is probably better off calorie-wise anyway lol.Note: If you like spicy flavors, ask for their hot spicy oil on the side. Has to be the hottest Asian hot oil I have ever had. But I love that stuff so bring it on!Definitely worth a try if you haven’t yet! The trendy layout of this place would make for great parties too!

I used to go to the other location in Garden City but they are closed. So I have been here before but I never had the chance to review it. I decided to stop by for lunch one day. I started with an order of the fried dumplings with chicken. So delicious and crispy. Lots of flavor, and ask for a side of the house duck sauce to dip. That day they were offering a choice of soup or salad with an entree so I got wonton soup with extra scallions. Nice and hot and not too salty. I ordered the Szechuan peppercorn chicken with white rice. As good as I remember and I ate every bite. Veggies were cooked well and I love the sauce. Really happy with my experience and the service was excellent too. The restaurant was decorated nice and very clean. Definitely will stop by again.
