What fun! Went to Friendly's on Labor Day, and our server Megan took great care of us. She totally indulged my inner child who has fond memories of going to Friendly's as a kid when visiting Long Island. The Shark Water soda was unavailable... so i was kindly offered a Worm Water instead! The food was delicious.. I had the honey BBQ chicken with yummy coleslaw, and my friend had the captain's platter, which I sampled! Shoutout to Bri who kindly stopped to answer a quick question I had as I was trying to make up my mind about dessert. I went with the mini cones for dessert - just a perfect amount of ice cream 🍦 and refreshingly tasty (and my friend couldn't resist sampling either 😋) The only thing missing was the watermelon 🍉 sherbert cake from my childhood; hopefully I will find it again one of these days!

Warning!!! Be careful about tipping. The suggestive tip does not equal total before tax I spoke to Scott the manager. His explanation was because I purchased one of there combos it was discounted. Excuse me it was a way to rip people off. You take there word for honest dealing. Please go have fun, enjoy. Please keep your eyes on the check

This was my first and last time coming to this Friendly’s’ establishment when I came inside no one greeted me because I was alone black female I just came from the hospital visiting my niece she had a seizure at school. I was hungry I needed something to eat. I was waiting about 15 minutes to be noticed greeted but that didn’t happen. So I had to tell the young lady by the ice cream bar that I haven’t been sat down no one came to serve me this is sad I thought that this was going to be a great experience but it turned out to be thee opposite. I like the friendly’s in Florida better at least they acknowledge humans of color. Never again and when I ask to order for take out I said no pickles the pickles were on the chicken sandwich and the ice cream taste old and stale. Never again this is what I get for eating out during an emergency situation. I will start eating healthier again.
I am posting this review upon request from the owner: After ordering, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive, and our drinks arrived just before the food did. We weren't even served waters. We had 5 and 10 year olds in our party who just wanted waters and kept asking for them. We even had people in our party of 3 tables who didn't receive part of their orders right up until the end of our visit so they decided to cancel them all together. We asked for napkins but my brother had to grab napkins from the waiting station. And worst of all, our waitress had an attitude.I seldom ever give 3 stars let alone 2, but this was just awful service.
