There is a meal containers fee, 5% extra credit card surcharge, delivery fee's, and tax, are not seen in totality until you get to checkout. None of these are incorporated into price per meal up front. You will see it all but not until it's all tallied at check out, so price per meal is a bit miss leading. Obviously can't get the meals without the containers.I question some of the ingredients labels. It will say whole wheat bun or tortilla ect, instead of listing the ingredients they are made from. Whole Wheat bun or tortilla ect are not ingredients, many instances of this on labels.The customer service is low level. Brought back a meal that caused stomach pains, the employee wasn't concerned and told me to call the company #, like I was interrupting his tv show he was watching. The # I called (from the website)was a voice message from the company saying not to leave a message to instead email. I did and explained the issue, no response to the email.Be sure to read the long terms of agreement. If something goes bad with the food, the company has pretty much covered every angle for themselves for any liability. If your ok with it great but it should be something a customer is aware of.It's always an issue getting an in store receipt. I've had to ask for a hand written receipt. I won't be ordering from this place again.

The customer service is horrendous. I have a store manager randomly texting and calling me on a number he should not have access to. It's not related to the food, it's bizarre messages. Another issue regarding a meal that gave me stomach pains, I contacted the main website via email, no response at all.

I like the meals but u can't get a receipt for cash or credit card payment in store and I have gotten 2. Outdated meals in the pack that I ordered..The prices are high but the customer svc is lacking !The customer is always wrong with them....

I'm a huge fan of this service. Being from The Bronx, any time I'm on the island, I make sure to stop at Healthy Meals Direct. The quality and prices are great. However, the timing of the locations for a business that serves breakfast is quitedisappointing. Some locations open at 9am, some at 10am, when I want to be purchasing breakfast at7am or 8am. I have found myself passing by for breakfast and the business has yet to open on several different occasions. Also, opening Fridays at 11am is extremely late. Every location provides microwaves to heat up your food, but most recently napkins have been removed from the utensil package. Napkins should always be provided. These observations do not deter me from purchasing again but it is inconvenient at times.
