We went here for breakfast. I appreciate the small menu (I’m all for doing what you do, well). Food was really good, what took away from our experience was a family was seated right next to us. Clearly they were friends of the staff or mgmt, because people would stop by their table and gab away. The problem with that was one woman visitor was leaning on the booth right behind my husbands head and stayed a full 8 minutes talking. RUDE!!! Hello, excuse me, but could you move and keep your visit short, we are trying to enjoy our 34 year wedding anniversary breakfast and we would like to speak and reminisce with each other and enjoy each other’s company, but thanks to their rudeness couldn’t!!! We didn’t say anything because too often even asking for some common courtesy is viewed as hostility and would have further ruined our experience. So we ate in silence and left. SMH

It may be the same menu but it’s certainly not the same food. What a shame. The iced coffee was served in a large soda glass. The spanikopita omelette was about 1/3 less the size than it usually was. The filling was dry and burnt and had no feta. The eggs themselves were burnt. Way too expensive for such unfortunate food.

Living in Long Island, it’s always nice to try a new breakfast location to experience a different area. After my experience today at Jam/The Good Life location in Massapequa Park, I will not be returning. My waiter, a young man (whom I will respectfully leave out for their privacy), who seemed to have been training another young female, took care of our table. I ordered a hot tea, but once it was dropped off at my table, my waiter took off. After waiting for what felt, a substantial time to ask for lemon and honey, my tea ended up getting cold. After ordering our food, we observed other tables receiving service, even water. After taking a photo of our plates since it was nicely plated, we noticed that it had been roughly 27 minutes since we were followed up. Humiliating enough, we then decided we had no choice but to go inside and ask for our check as time was clicking. I asked for a manager/lead on duty, and was told they did not have one. We are very big on reviews, hence why we traveled to your location. It could have been a once-off off but unfortunately, it had to be us. On top of starting the day celebrating a birthday, it could have been a nice, memorable experience to have at your location, to jumpstart our hectic day planned.

So sad… This is not the Jam we loved. Gone is the special breakfast shop as it’s been forced into a bar that would not be open at this hour. Probably to save on rent and utilize a dead space. But while the new location is nice, it does not provide the breakfast atmosphere. You are walking into a large night life bar. There are TVs all over the walls. It has more of a Fridays chain feel than a sole proprietor breakfast spot. The food was decent but disappointing. The home fries were mini French fries. The biscuit and gravy were funky with the eggs laid on top of the biscuit and gravy with an added balsamic vinegar like sauce. The coffee came out at the beginning and the server never return to ask to refill until after he brought the bill! While we have had a worst experience other places, Jam is far from the experience it once was and we will not be returning. Bummer….

First off let's start with the food. The food here is absolutely amazing without a doubt hands down. The service kind of ties in with the atmosphere. I was with a couple of friends and the minute we walked in it was very uncomfortable and I'm just being honest. I felt like we were low-key stared at by staff, and that we were only being spoken to and approached out of sheer obligation. It's their job. My friend felt the same way. The service was tolerable. The the atmosphere was noisy, crowded, and pretty tight. Barely any room really to move around freely. What I recommend this place? Solely for the food sure I suppose, but for the overall experience absolutely not.

Pretty good breakfast spot. Service was good. Wait time wasn't bad when we went. Everything seemed a little under seasoned for my taste.

The worst costumer service I ever experienced.
The host named Liz was extremely rude and this isn’t her first time.
I want to start by saying that we have been costumers for 2 years now. Many times we have seen the host to favor people in the waiting area
And thought it was unfair, but today we experienced her nastiness.
We went as a group of 7, 3 adults and 4 kids
Young kids, she turned us down by saying we don’t do more than 6,
I said they are young and can easily squeeze together in the Booth, she said no we don’t do that here
I said okay we don’t mind splitting our group
And her answer is we don’t split tables
I said we didn’t ask to split the tables you can put us separately
And she said on a Sunday we don’t take groups and you already said you are together
I said to her what if I came alone with 2 kids
And her answer was but i already saw you coming In with more people! What does it matter to her?
What does it matter if i squeeze my kids together if you aren’t the one being uncomfortable? And what does it matters if i am willing to split my group and sit separately if im willing to still do and give my business to you ?
Veryyy unprofessional doesn’t matter how good or bad your food is, you lose business when you speak nasty!
I’m not willing to give my business to any places thinking they can speak to their costumers like that
I very much enjoy this place. I like that the menu has things that you don't see everywhere and I really love that they specialize in my favorite meal of the day, brunch! The service is always stellar and the prices are very affordable, especially for the quality that you're getting. I believe they close at 3. If you're living the modern world, you have a cell phone and you can probably figure that part out yourself.
