Stars can be difficult to rate as I’ve not tried their place. Owners communicated quickly when I’d come and found it closed. As I thought, they had a family issue of immediate need and had to leave. Life happens. I extend to them, prayers, understanding and hope that things going forward, go smoothly for them. I note that I shall try another time to visit their restaurant in the future.

Hands down the best thai food long island has seen in a long time!! Some of it was even better than we had in thailand 😍😍😍. Award winning chef, great service and excellent food! On top of everything else our waiter/host is the proud husband of the chef and could not wait to boast about her training in thailand and her food! It is the sweetest thing ever, but the fact that the food matches the intro is what will keep you coming back. One of my fav parts was the selection of dishes which ranged from northern thai dishes to southern thai dishes ( many places only serve southern)...everything was on point!
We got the Laab salad which was the best ive ever had anywhere! Usually its dry and not flavorful enough, but it was juicy and packed with flavor!
We also got the Kra-pow puffs, cravable and delicious!
For dinner we both got the same dish, my fav thai dish ever- KHAO SOI!!! Ive beem searching for it since we had it in chiang mai- few places have it even fewer places make it well and we WERE NOT dissapointed!! OMFG! I can not rave about this place enough! Next time well do noodle dishes ans curries, and i can NOT wait to see if those are as good!!! Go. Eat. Immerse yourself in excellent thai food!

Khamdee Thai kitchen is the gold standard when it comes to bona-fide thai cusine!!! The flavors punched me right in the mouth & I loved it!! This award winning place is located in Massapequa on merrick rd, get over there & check out this awsome thai spot that also has a great atmosphere!!

The food is delicious and has variety from Northern Thailand. The owner is very eccentric which made the dining experience a little uncomfortable. The workers were talked to sternly by the owner in front of customers and my party and I were concerned for them. The images/videos of Thailand were awesome but would have enjoyed if they switched screens more often. My sister’s food came out late (rest of the party was already eating) and when we brought it up, the owner mentioned that only his wife is in the back cooking. As much as we understood that, the table next to us received appetizers before my whole party received their meals. Overall the organization can be improved to make the culture of the restaurant the highlight rather than the owner.

His wife is an authentic 5 star chef who prepared fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's no wonder that they have been voted #1 on Long Island for many years.

If I could give a zero I would.

I came to this restaurant for a special Father’s Day dinner, and it was completely ruined. We arrived at 7:45 PM — a full hour and 15 minutes before closing time (9:00 PM) — and the man working there literally shut the door in our faces and locked it without a word. He saw us standing there and just refused to let us in. We had a reservation and he fully disregarded that.

It was rude, unprofessional, and honestly shocking. We weren’t late — we were well within business hours. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any business, let alone one that’s supposed to offer hospitality.

Don’t waste your time or ruin a special day like we did. This place clearly doesn’t care about customers.

We enjoyed the foodcand wine. The eggplant dish was delicious!
