Ordered online around 1pm for a 7-8 pm pickup. At 7 received a text saying that the order would be late and I should wait for another text. No text arrived. At around 8:15 I called and was told couldn't find the order and we should cancel if it was not ready before 9 when the store closes. No apology. Unbelievably poor service.

Terrible customer service! There are has been various occasions where I or a loved one has been treated as if we were children and below them. There was an even a time where my partner was asked to leave as he was on line about purchase an item simply because " they were closing ". Meanwhile, there were many individuals on line beside him waiting to purchase an item as well. This employee even threaten to call the cops for no apparent reason. We all have felt discriminated against almost every occasion we went to the Whole Foods in Massapequa. Me and my family having been shopping there for years and we hate to leave on this note. We have also emailed corporate and nothing has been done or even a response.

Update - Found this location has a Self Serve, push button, Make Your Own Fresh Juice Machine! In love with that... so who cares if Jericho seems bigger and busier.. this, plus fresh guacamole, and cut fruit, organic strawberries have me now choosing to swing in to this one now when shopping lighter.

I've been to a LOT of Whole Foods up and down the East Coast. I often buy sandwiches or wraps. Passing through Massapequa Park, stopped here to grab a quick lunch. My daughter and I bought two sandwiches - turkey and cheese, ham and cheese - the only options no wraps. Both were inedible; old bread, bad lettuce, gristly meat. Got mac and cheese from the prepared foods section for my grandson; also terrible. Not remotely close to the usual standards of Whole Foods. One plus: the beer guy was very helpful in steering me to some good local brews.

I love WF! It is where we do the bulk of our grocery shopping for the family. Plus you save an extra 10% with your Prime if you have (which most people do at this point). They also have the best customer service - everyone in this store has always been so kind, helpful and courteous. They have a great selection of organic produce and vegan/vegetarian products which is important to me. Everything is always clean and most things are usually stocked. The sales vary week to week so their full priced items might be more than elsewhere. But on a sale day + prime savings you'll get some good bang for your buck.I love the little clothing/sock/accessory area near the health and beauty products. They always have these items on sale and I got a super cute ear warmer and beautiful scarf for this winter recently.Shop healthy, shop Whole Foods.

Decided to give my wife a day off from cooking dinner. I happen to be in the area and heard so many positive things about this establishment. I was very surprised with the assortment of cooked foods and cold salads! I noticed all were priced at $11.99 a pound. I ended up spending over $60 for dinner for 2. Some items were a hit like the fried chick pea balls and macaroni and cheese. The hot wings were dry and tasteless and the Greek salad was sour from the cucumbers that infested the entire pound I purchased! The rotisserie chicken was also tasteless. What a waste! Was my first and last time coming here

Another fantastic shopping experience at Whole Foods. To the gentleman that helped me with aged pecorino cheese...Ty. Irmarosa at checkout is the most pleasant employee. Fantastic attitude, asked if I needed double bagging & her sheer professionalism made my shopping experience delightful.

I get my morning coffee here often and their bagels here are actually unbelievable. I usually get a bagel from their deli section, bring it to the café area, have them toast it and put vegan cream cheese on it, and order my latte. The staff is insanely nice and it tastes delicious. The cafe area is also a perfect place to work as it's not too loud, spacious, and mostly distraction free (except for people watching) haha. But the grocery store itself also has the best of the best products and everything is to promote clean and healthy eating. They have a strict screening process for what foods they allow to be sold in their stores ensuring that you know your putting healthier food into your body. My go to grocery store - so glad they opened this location.

I love that a Whole Foods is in the Massapequa area now. It beats driving to Jericho, Garden City, or Commack just to pick up a handful of items. I'm not a frequent shopper of Whole Foods, as I do find some products to be overpriced almost eating up your 'whole' paycheck. I don't care if it's organic or not. But they do carry some items I use/buy, which is why I go. I was pleasantly surprised that during my first visit at this location my item was on sale and because I have Prime I got an extra 10% off. That made my day!I like the layout of the store. Seems smaller, but sufficient with all the things you may find at a WF. It's new, clean, and bright with plenty of parking. Nice addition to the neighborhood giving the surrounding communities another grocery store option.

The new store looks beautiful! We walked around trying to get our bearings and enjoyed some of the departments that put our local Stop & Shop to shame. The fruits and veggies look beautiful and fresh! Bought some baby book choy, a tomato and some blueberries. The cheese selection is dangerous. Settled on a French Brie. The bread and bakery were outstanding, and we came some with a cake, a cupcake and a brioche loaf. This will be a regular stop for us!
