Tried this place the other day for first time as takeout. The food was amazing, hands down the best BBQ place I've tried in Long Island. I got the Smoked Ribs and Meat combo with the moist brisket. The meats were very tender had a good smoke flavor. The baked beans, cornbread, coleslaw were also great. Overall good value, will definitely be returning here to try out the rest of the menu.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I really liked the chili dip appetizer; it had a good amount of meat and I can't complain about the cheese on top. Sweet potato fries and the garlic mash potatoes were absolutely delicious sides. I enjoyed the brisket and pulled pork, but the ribs were very disappointing as they were tough and the seasoning didn't penetrate very deep.
Scam ordered 2 dinner specials for $12.99 and was charged $54.18. I didnt sign receipt but they said it still went through. Now I have to dispute with Discover card due to their incompetence
What a delicious meal! I had chicken and ribs, baked beans, corn and cornbread. So so so good! Jordan did an excellent job of making sure that I was taken care of. I highly recommend!

We came as a group of five and were quickly seated and attended to by our waitress. She made great suggestions and explained the sauces to us. We ordered baby back ribs, two meat combos, and beef ribs. The baby backs and sides were delicious! The pulled pork and smoked chicken (two meat combo) were tasty as well. The beef ribs were very disappointing as they were chewy and did not taste fresh at all! We had a good experience and will be returning to try the other offerings.

This was our first time going to Smokin' Al's in Massapequa Park Saturday August 17th 2024.. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and sat at a table in the elevated section. Our waitress Sophia came over right away to introduce herself and ask us what we would like to have to drink. Our dinner was delicious the atmosphere was very warm, We ordered combo number two which was spare ribs and brisket lean, and a pulled pork sandwich. Plenty of food! Everything was outrageous. Sophia was very attentive making sure to check in on us quite often. We explain to her mid meal that this was our first time at the restaurant and that we were truly enjoying our dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant. Very well controlled as smokin Al was there making sure every meal that went out was exactly the way it should be. It's nice to see hands-on management. The restaurant was very clean and set up where you didn't feel like you were right on top of the people next to you. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks to Sophia and the rest of the staff for making tonight the most enjoyable evening! As we left we were wished a good night and to get home safely. Wonderful to hear!!

I had the brisket over Caesar salad. Not a good choice for me. Way too much sauce on the brisket that I could hardly taste the meat. Caesar salad dressing did not taste like Caesar. My sister had the ribs with sweet potatoes. The potatoes were burnt beyond recognition which made the potatoes taste bitter and super burnt. Portions are big, but taste is subpar.
