Zona Italian Restaurant

I had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Zona last night. I was originally booked to have the party on Saturday, but the bride came down with the flu. Gianna was so helpful and accommodating. She was able to change the date for me without hesitation. The day of the affair, the staff was so helpful in getting the room set up for us. Our waitress, Jodi, was absolutely incredible. She made sure that our guests had a fresh drink before they even realized their drink was empty. The food was delicious and plentiful. But most of all, the service that Jodi provided to us was outstanding. I would book another event at Zona without hesitation.

Ordered trays of chicken parm, penne ala vodka, meatballs, anttpasto, and more and can not express how great everything was. It was true Italian! Everything tasted homemade! Would highly recommend using Zona for any catering!!

Catered an event from zona and everything was fantastic! The food was delicious. The accomodations and creating the menu was very simple and collaborative. We also had 2 servers who were excellent start to finish. I can't recommend them enough and would absolutely use them again for another party!!

I have been a patron of Zona for many years and have always found the food to be consistently delicious and the staff always cordial with excellent service. I decided to have my business networking luncheons there because of the above reasons. Thank you, Zona for being in my community!

I tasted their food!!! the Penne alla vodka is excellent. I highly recommend!!!??

I've been a loyal customer at Zona for years, so it really hurts me to write this review. Lately, the quality of their food has been so hit or miss, especially with takeout orders.

Since the beginning of 2023, my takeout experiences with Zona have been all over the place. Sometimes, the food is great--well-made, good portions, and really enjoyable. But other times, my order is missing items, the food is cold when it should be hot, the portions are smaller than usual, and there are other random issues.

This last order was the final straw for me. The meat wasn't cooked well, and some items barely and meat at all. Part of our order- We ordered two Crudos and one Nuzzi. The Nuzzi had just one thin, small piece of ham on each side of the sandwich, which has never happened before. The Crudo was also disappointing, with barely any prosciutto and hardly any arugula, even though I paid extra for it.

Zona isn't cheap, and it's frustrating to spend so much money on food that's so inconsistent. Because of this, I can't recommend Zona for takeout. I haven't dined in, so I can't say if the experience is any better in the restaurant.

The staff and ambiance were superb, and the food was incredibly tasty. Despite the ample parking lot, it is shared and seems to be frequently used by many high school students.

We celebrated two graduations yesterday. Our daughter graduated from college and our son from high school. From the moment we made the reservation, less than two weeks before the big day, until the time we left, the service was exceptional! Gianna was truly amazing and helped with every aspect of the planning, including the creation of a personalized menu for our daughter and son. The dining room was beautifully appointed and the ambiance was simply perfect for our intimate gathering of twenty. Jodie, our server, was extremely attentive as were the two attendants who assisted her. The food was delicious and plentiful. The drinks were wonderful. The desserts were scrumptious. We shared a beautiful and memorable dinner celebration with our family at Zona Italian Restaurant of Massapequa. Thanks to all for a wonderful experience!

While it does have a large parking lot, it is shared and it seems like a lot of HS park in the lot.
