Excellent service and delicious food! Friendly service from Pat our server and Chef Aless came out to discuss allergies at our table. She was so kind. Great experience!! I got the mussels in wine sauce and ratatouille with rice. Highly recommend.
Classic French dishes plus some dishes you won't find elsewhere in NY. We were always greeted warmly by the staff and Chef Aless when she's not too busy. Haven't had a bad meal since the first time we stopped by. Our favorites are the seared foie gra, mussels with white wine, hanger steak, and pan seared duck. Highly recommend dining here. Also, they have wonderful happy hour 4-6pm everyday on food and drinks.
This restaurant is good. Fine. But never great. I find myself continuing to dine here for dinner every 2-3 months in hopes I would leave feeling like it was truly worth 5 stars but never is. I love the decor. The cocktails are fantastic. The staff is wonderful. My biggest pet peeve, admittedly because it’s my favorite food(it’s about the simple things!)is the bread and butter they provide. France is known for bread and butter (among other things). And they give you plain toasted bread with frozen butter packets. Always rock hard. Where are the baguettes with whipped French sea salt herbed butter?! The melted Camembert is tasty but they serve it with only two pieces of toasted bread leaving you to awkwardly ask for more. I usually get the steak frites. It is consistently over-cooked. Sometimes, the fries are cold. And so lackluster. They’re sad and beige. Barely fried. I so badly want to ask for a side of aïoli to dip them in. Their crème brûlée is fine but lacks the beautiful black specs you would see if they utilized real vanilla beans, like one would in France.
On a positive, their branzino was delicious. Loved their Chicken cordon bleu (Although this was also served with sad and beige fries with no aïoli). Black truffle pasta is delicious. Seafood tower always slaps.
I highly suggest going for happy hour, live jazz and a cocktail or two. Maybe some oysters. But don’t get your hopes up about having the best meal of your life. Just enjoy the atmosphere and lovely staff.
one of the best restaurants in massapequa!!!! love the food here!!! amazing
Had an amazing time, an absolutely phenomenal meal, and heard some fantastic comics at Brasserie by Chef Aless comedy night! It’s in Massapequa right off Merrick road. Highly recommend this restaurant, every time we eat there the food is amazing. Must try items on the menu: mussels, french onion soup, wedge salad, any steaks they are making, branzino, even the burger and fries! Pat the bar tender is the man and makes the best cocktails. All the staff is super friendly and the owners are amazing people.
In a word -- consistent. Happy to say that we haven't had a bad experience. Fantastic staff, food and beverages.
First time at restaurant. Didn't meet expectations for a French Brasserie. Thought they'd have been on tap, only had bottled beer. For the service, the host was very friendly, shook our hands when we arrived and when we left. Was chatty. The waitress though seemed distracted and wasn't that attentive. Food was decent. Some of my scallops were tough but my wife's lamb was very good. Not sure if I'd go back.
Dinner was excellent, the jazz band was wonderful and the ambience was inviting. We were celebrating our 26th anniversary.
Going to give my truly honest fair review
It was good, but not great. Didnt feel so much like a french restaurant. More continental.
I was disappointed right from the start with the bread. It was supermarket, soft Italian bread. You expect really good artisan bread at a French restaurant more on the baguette style.
The French onion soup was very good and I highly recommend it!
I had the hanger steak which came with au gratin potatoes. Again, it was good, but nothing special.
Our friend had the chicken Cordon Bleu which was good but nothing special Consider considering that’s a French signature dish.. It was served with a mayonnaise based spread on the side. French foods are known for their sauces so that was a little disappointing.
The chocolate mousse was delicious. The
lemon tart was not really lemony or anything
memorable.. desserts were very limited. Again, a french restaurant you would think the desserts would be to die for
As it got busier the waiter seemed overwhelmed
We love this restaurant! We have been several times for dinner and brunch and have never been disappointed. Our waiter Evin was great and the food never disappoints.

This is a hidden gem in Massapequa Park. The food is outstanding, the drinks are made very well, and the service is great. The rosemary hanger steak, coq au vin, and bouillabaisse are my go to. But everything on the menu is exceptional.
This is the second time there we loved everything we ate, service was great and it's a nice relaxing atmosphere! We will be back for sure
This is my new FAVORITE restaurant! The food was to die for! I had the escargo, duck in the cassis reduction, & creme brulee. The escargo was seasoned to perfection. The duck was tender & flavorful. The creme brulee was like silk. Also, the service was spectacular & the ambiance was lovely. I can't wait to go back!
Mothers Day was great. The food was not up to my expectations. Order a steak. My knife could not cut thru it. I ended switching to fish. Just be careful what you order. Not my type of restaurant. To much hype.
My third time eating here... great food and atmosphere. Chicken cordon bleu is deliciously different. Rosemary Hanger steak is perfect. In the mood for a Burger? Best burger in town...excellent.
