Sushi smelled like it was on its way out and tasted low quality. Uncomfortable environment. The dirty fish tank should have been the first red flag at the door. Yaki Udon did not use actual udon noodles.

Sushi was good overall. The place was empty when we went in and we had the whole place to ourselves. Had some good sized sashimi pieces that was fresh. I like their ikura (salmon roe) which is always tasty. My friend had some rolls and scallop.

I requested the oil be removed from my scallion pancakes, it looked and taste absolutely disgusting. I could understand if I didn’t ask kindly the oil be drained ( for health reasons ) The “Rock shrimp” was a even worse the oil drenched my fingers i felt the oil down the inside of my throat every swallow . The worst food I have ever ordered in NYC and a waste of money !

WARNING!! THIS PLACE HAS CHANGED OWNERS!! NOT the same as it was before. Also will NOT honor any gift certificates purchased with previous owner ( kind of sus, selling gift certs if you’re thinking about selling your business). Service not close to the same and quality of workmanship with sushi left us wanting. This used to be our favorite sushi place, now we’re hunting for a new one. ? Sorry guys, step it up and some good reviews from other people will cancel out this one.
