This place is a joke when it comes to cleanliness and customer service. Half way through my ice coffee i discovered a piece of hamburger meat in it. That's right...hamburger meat. None of us were eating anything that resembled a hamburger. Needless to say we lost our appetites after that. When we complained about it all we initially received was an apology. When we stated that our meals should be comped the owner, Scott, told us that these things happened and that he would comp the iced coffee. Luckily his staff is much more reasonable and realized something more should be done. Scott's cavalier/rude attitude doesn't surprise me though as we've seen him bark orders at his employees (who happen to be young teenagers) on other occasions and just be straight up disrespectful towards them. We certainly won't be coming back again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either. So many better options nearby!

This is a unique ice cream parlor- restaurant. The portions are huge and everytime I come to New York I stop.Parking: Easy in easy out.Kid-friendliness: They cater to families and the prices are great.

Ice cold in store. Had to keep our jackets on. The food was good. Would have had more to eat, but it was too cold. Even the staff agreed with us that it was very cold.

Such a shame. The place is not what it used to be. We took our granddaughter because of our memories. Food was terrible. Chili had a piece of plastic in it. Fries were overcooked. Not crispy-just burned. Cooking oil must be very old as well. The one or two edible fries had a bad taste. Manager was surprised about the plastic and suggested it might have come out of a dish in the dishwasher. So not just plastic but a dirty bowl also. Server rarely came by. Atmosphere of all the treats is gone. Not sure if they sold or it’s being run by the kids but we won’t be back.

Went there for lunch. I got a Swiss patty melt and my wife got the Thanksgiving Turkey burger. Both delicious as well as the shakes. A little disappointed we had to pay $5.00 each for French fries! They didn't come with the burgers!

So, it was my first time going t’ Krisch’s (I had t’ go try it because a lot of people had recommended the place t’ me) and I was greeted nicely. So I sat down and the food was great. I decided t’ get ice cream and got the Massapequa Special, so I enjoyed that and the total was about $28 (£22) which int bad. So it was a good first experience.

Come here for homemade ice cream. The pie is above average diner pie. Food is average diner standards.
