The staff at La Mesa did an exceptional job with catering a small gathering for our church leader's team. Even during a snowstorm, they were able to ensure that everything was prepared in a timely manner, and all of the food was outstanding! We cannot thank you enough!

best tapsilog in town..paired with peach-mango juice
Hard indescribable meat. Garbage. Inedible. Probably a color problem. The worst. My order was a pick up so I didn’t look until I got home. I’ve never had garbage like that. I took it to the trash were they should have put it.
It was on good to go app. This place is garbage. I guess they look at you and judge what they will give.

The moment I walked in, it felt like the restaurant was doing the bare minimum and still expecting a round of applause.
Let’s start with the food: bland, overcooked, and somehow both greasy and dry. The pupusas tasted like they’d been microwaved, the beans had no seasoning, and the rice was mushy. I’ve had better street food on the side of a highway in Guatemala — and that only cost $2.
The service? Cold. Not rude, but lifeless. It felt like we were bothering them by showing up. No refills, no check-in, just slow, mechanical energy all around.
The vibe was no better — music way too loud, weird flickering lights, and tables that felt sticky. I honestly wanted to leave halfway through the meal but stayed out of respect.
This isn’t a knock on Central American cuisine — it’s some of the richest, most soulful food out there. But this place? It’s giving trap with no heart.
Save your money and eat literally anywhere else.

Food is good but service is very slow. I ordered ahead of time, they said 30 min. At 30 min, food was still not ready.
