My band, the Space Turtles was playing at show at the Massapequa VFW hall and I was super early. I asked the girl that worked at the VFW if there was any food nearby. She said Leonardo’s pizzeria, so l decided to check it out. I’m glad l did. The food was good and the service was friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Ordered through slice. Pizza slices were not hot at all. Garlic knots were burnt and also lacked any flavor.
Added meatballs and sausage to a slice but they didn't add extra cheese to hold it down so it fell off once you lifted the slice.
All sicilian slices had burnt crusts as well.
Don't order here if you want a decent experience. They'll also accuse you of lying when you aren't happy with your order.

This is THE BEST pizza I’ve had on Long Island. Perfect crust (not too thick, not too thin), perfect ratio of cheese to tomato sauce, fantastic tasting tomato sauce. And everyone in the restaurant is nice, especially the owner. I love pizza so I’m so glad I found Leonardo’s!!!

My older son and I stopped by for slices this evening, and it was so delicious that we ordered a full pie and garlic knots on the way home from my others son’s baseball game the same night! This pizza made the entire family happy! The Grandpa pie was amazing and the garlic knots are pure perfection. We can’t wait to try heros and chicken parm next! It’s worth the 40 minute drive from home (and thankfully only 14 minutes from work)!!

Stopped by for a quick slice and I am absolutely amazed. The mac and cheese slice is probably the best I’ve ever had, and their regular was PERFECTION.
Service was quick, prices were cheap, restaurant was clean, and I wish I’d found this place sooner. This little corner place has some of the best pizza on Long Island!!

We order delivery every week from Leonard's Pizza. Grandma pie is sensational, along with their rice balls. My husband and I can't get enough of their Grandma pie with sausage!!!
