The best place in town with people who care, who share in joy, share in mourning, and are a family.

The food and service here are always amazing. When I’m in the area I won’t go anywhere else. Super quality And very clean restaurant. Always a very positive experienceVegetarian options: I highly recommend the miso glazed eggplant. I am not a vegetarian but this is the main reason I love this restaurant. As well as the fried banana dessert. You will not be disappointedKid-friendliness: Children and babies are just as welcome here as adults. The accommodations are perfect. And since the staff is so friendly this is an amazing plusWheelchair accessibility: This has been a favorite restaurant for my family for many years, but my daughter had been badly injured in an accident. The first thing we wanted to do when she got out of the nursing home was to go to Tai show. I arranged for friends that she hadn’t seen in the several months of hospitalization. We were able to be accommodated with her wheelchair. As well as High chair is provided for the children that were with us. Everything was amazing as always!

Came here for the sushi, but I kind of wish I tried the hibachi. I was greeted and seated promptly, which was nice. We were sat in a closed off, almost on the floor, sushi table, which was kind of fun since it was a date night. The only downside was that the room got very hot, so we had to keep the doors cracked open. For food, we shared a few different rolls. Everything was fresh and pretty tasty. Rolls were a good size, and the value was right. Although the food was good, nothing really stood out to me.Overall, a decent restaurant that I would come back to to try the hibachi and maybe different sushi.Parking: Small lot on premis.

I just love it here. I've been a customer for over 20 years. This was the first place I ever tried excellent sushi and it's still awesome. We have always loved the gracious staff and now my kids love this place. I feel like there are so very few places left from 20+ years ago but this is one of them. The birthday celebrations and little private dining booths are the best. Thank you for always being awesome, Tai Show!

Love love love love Tai Show. Angie and Ellie are the best. Food is amazing. Service is amazing. Everything is always on point. Everyone is friendly, and they take the time to get to know their patrons. Recommend 100/10. ♥️ No better Japanese food on the island.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but they do offer vegetable tempura which is AMAZING.

If you're looking for good authentic sushi this spot isn't it. Maybe their take out isnt on point as dine is but thats no excuse. Super clumpy rice hits you like a brick with no flavor. Rolls are super sloppy like a 10yr old kid made them with breadcrumbs literally trown on them. No craftmanship what so ever and thats what sushi is about. Sorry will not be returning. No sure what people like about this place.

Terrible and disappointing. I ordered 2 simple rolls and a piece of Ikura sushi. The rice was soft and mushy and not cooked correctly. It smelled and tasted like vinegar. The yellowtail was low grade. The Ikura was inedible and old, I had to throw it out. It was disgusting. People will eat anything smothered in spicy mayo but if you know good quality fish and how the rice should be prepared- you can tell this was not good. It's really hard to find good quality sushi in this area. We typically head north to Syosset/Woodbury for great high quality fish. Tai show used to be much better many years ago.

We came here on a Tuesday afternoon, it was my child 4th bday. The food was terrible. We ordered 4 people dinner hibachi. We had the salmon, chicken, steak, scallops and shrimp. The seafood was old, it had a terrible taste which later got my family sick. They should not be in business. Nothing was worth the money or taste at this hibachi. If you want to live and have a better experience go somewhere else. This place should be shut down.
