What an amazing find! We had purchased the East End Hospice Coupon Book each year, and a coupon for this restaurant was in the book. My wife and I were not familiar with this restaurant, as we live on the South Fork. We wanted to try something different for us, so we made the trip to Mattituck. We couldn't have been more pleased with the food and service. Our server, Barbara, was extremely friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions about the menu and making recommendations. We started with the CJ's chopped salad. This salad was big enough for two people to share (with leftovers to take home as well!) For our main courses, my wife had the stuffed flounder and I had the horseradish crusted salmon. Both meals, along with the potatoes and broccoli sides were delicious. For dessert, we shared the chocolate mouse cake. Everything was exquisite! The only reason why I gave 3 stars for Atmosphere is because it is a bit loud. However, that did NOT detract from our enjoyment of the dining experience. We will certainly add this to our list of preferred restaurants to patronize.

I was disappointed with my recent experience here. The service was slower than expected, and the overall atmosphere wasn’t as good as I had hoped. What really concerned me, though, was the way some employees treated their coworkers. I’ve seen and heard employees speaking disrespectfully about others and even yelling at one another in front of others. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and completely unacceptable—especially from older employees who should be setting an example for the younger staff.
The owner really needs to step in and make sure employees are treating each other with respect. No one deserves to be spoken to or treated poorly at work. It’s unfair, and it reflects badly on the business overall.

I love this place! Their burgers are amazing as well as their other dishes. The steaks are also tasty and at a great price! They start you off with delicious cornbread and rolls too. It's a very relaxed and chill atmosphere to dress up or down. It's also great there's tons of parking. Highly recommend.

My mother-in-law suggested CJs. She promised us great tasting ribs. CJs did not disappoint. The ribs were awesome, sweet potato fries, corn bread, and onio rings incredible. Smaller restaurant in an out-of-the-way location. I highly recommend it.

Our Family dinner tonight was totally enjoyable. Food , steak, chicken and shrimp were perfectly prepared and totally delicious. Service was perfect - totally attentive and friendly staff. If you want a fabulous meal at a fair price - CJ's is the place to go.

Just had a very tasty burger, cooked to perfection. We shared stuffed clams, had some seafood bisque, extra tasty, along with an order of fried calamari and shrimp. Totally satisfying. No room left for dessert. The fries were awesome, both the home fries and the sweet potato fries. Our waiter Ian was friendly and attentive to our needs. Great place to visit.
