Love this Uruguayan owned and operated cafe!! Had the most amazing breakfast!! Avocado toast and an incredible egg sandwich! This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. Can’t recommend GoodFood enough!

The food at GoodFood is not good, it's great! It is a really great little "healthy food option" cafe with a small, solid menu of things as well as some fun empanada combos and a counter of quick homemade salads, sides, and more. It is a great breakfast or lunch option to take to go or to eat there (there are a few small tables inside and outside). My personal favorite is the power bowl (add the salmon)! The ingredients are all fresh - sometimes it can take a little bit for the food to come out so if you are ordering to go I would suggest using their easy online ordering tool on their website. It is worth the wait though since everything is fresh and refreshing.

Stopped here for a coffee and left with a bunch of empanadas! Not many options for coffee, just drip ad you add your own milk, along with a home made cold brew. The food all looks very fresh but the prices were absolutely insane. The empanadas were only okay. The staff was nice and the ambiance is great. I wouldn't come here again but i'm not mad that i stopped in.

This food is absolutely amazing and I love to go here anytime I do. The bread pudding has to be my favorite thing here, and the smoothies are also delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! While service is a little slow, the immaculate food makes up for it!

True to its name, everything we had was delicious. There are a wide range of selections and it was hard to choose. We had the chili, a couple different empanadas, curry chicken salad & the amazingly light & fluffy cheesecake. We usually have leftovers from lunch but not here! Too Good! Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Overall I continue to really enjoy Goodfood. After having been super keen on the empanadas for a while, I bought a frozen package for the first time. It contained a printed ingredient list, and I was kind of taken aback to find that there were elements- I believe it was the dough, specifically- that are imported and as a result seem to contain preservatives. I had- perhaps naively- assumed the empanadas were made entirely from scratch on site. So on my most recent visit I instead went with the milanesa sandwich. It was everything I hoped for and brought back memories of a trip I took to South America years ago.
This is my fave spot to grab a cold drink or smoothie and a power bowl with a poached egg yum!! The empanadas are so so good and I love the variety of flavors DONT FORGET THE CHIMICHURRI !!! You can get little snacks here and food from the fridge or freezer to take home. The desserts and salads are so good too. I've been eating here for years and never had something that disappoints.

The name of the place says it all. Scratch that. The place should be called "Great Food." Everything on the menu is delicious, fresh, healthy, flavorful, and a wonderful variety. One of the very very rare places on the East End where you can be vegetarian and gluten free and have multiple options of excellent dishes to select. I've been there many times for breakfast, lunch, and take-out. Never disappointed. Always have a happy tummy after dining at Good Food. [p.s. I don't know why Yelp seems to think I live in San Francisco. I don't. I'm an East End year-round local.]
