This location of Lucharito's is near and dear to my heart. I feel so blessed to be a patron at this colorful cool establishment. Don't forget to play the video games inside this beautifully painted family restaurant. You won't be disappointed by the food folks and FUN- I personally guarantee your satisfaction! I the bean bowl with rice and cheese. It doesn't get better than this, mis amigos! We are so blessed to share with you at the table.

What a gem! The food was delicious, the staff was courteous and professional (not easy to come by these days), and the atmosphere was fun. A great place for a family with kids. Our kids enjoyed the arcade games while my wife and I enjoyed our dinner. Large portions and great prices!

Food was okay, everything was good but the carne asada didn't have much flavor for me. It may have just been me!

I usually apply the "three-strikes" rule to restaurants and food establishments because one never knows if the kitchen staff was having a bad day during a disappointing dining experience. After today's visit, Lucharitos Burrito Bar has attained its third strikeout with me (actually, I gave it four chances). I admire Lucharito's owner Marc LaMaina (hence the 3 stars) for growing a mini Mexican food empire in Long Island and expanding into entertainment, sports, and other areas. My admiration alone won't make me return to Lucharitos Burrito Bar in Matituck.Lucharito's in Greenport always delivers a good meal (as did his former Little Lucharito's in Aquebogue). Still, since I live in Mattituck, I'm disappointed I now have to make a drive to Greenport if I want some Lucharitos. In my view, Lucharitos Burrito Bar never really worked through the kinks food establishments usually have in their first few days or weeks of opening, despite opening and surving during the COVID-19 pandemic. They seem chronically under-staffed for the volume of dine-in and takeout orders I've observed while dining in (I understand staffing these days is a challenge for most restaurants). During today's visit, several of the dine-in tables were dirty from previous diners, and service items like napkin holders were empty. For this visit, I ordered a pulled chicken bowl and shared an order of guacamole and chips with my friend. The chicken although tender, lacked any flavor and didn't improve with the copious amounts of chipotle hot sauce I added. Likewise, the guacamole was flavorless despite a few pieces of chopped onion. It lacked the basics flavors of traditional guacamole like salt and lime juice (chopped cilantro would be an excellent addition, too), and came with large chunks of avocado that made it difficult to break up with brittle tortilla chips. The chips always came nicely packed in a brown paper bag, but are served chilled rather than the traditional warmed chips. Heating corn chips can enhance the corn flavor.Since restaurateurs and chefs often mute the traditional flavors of the Mexican cuisine for the American palate, I usually give establishments the benefit of the doubt, but the various proteins I've tried at Lucharitos Burrito Bar always come lacking any flavor or substance. It's apparent that either the kitchen uses different recipes from the Greenport location or don't follow them. With another disappointing visit, it will be my last, and I have to resign myself to driving to Greenport or cooking Mexican at home (at least my homemade guacamole never disappoints).

So I have been a customer of your restaurant for quite a while now. I understand the price changes and slightly smaller portions but this is obsurd. 18$ for a salad soup x2 =36$ plus tax. I had to drain all this water out of my meal and now eat a soggy salad. Mind you this is one of two salads that are exactly the same. The mattituck location has gone drastically down hill and I will no longer be eating at your restaurant because of this. This was the last straw for me.I tried to email support and not result to this review but it kicked my email back stating they are not accepting emails. I have a video of us draining the water out but it will not allow me to post. This is totally unacceptable business practices.Thank you

If you want the biggest and best burrito in Mattituck, belly up to the counter at Lucharito's burrito bar. I ordered a chicken burrito with a bunch of extras and it was incredible. I will be back again and again.

Picked up salads. What you see is puddles of water that the salad was sitting in. Super gross. Every time I eat here it's prepared differently and never an improvement. Tried to email them before this post but got nowhere. Totally done with this place.

Will never order from the Mattituck location again. Last night we placed an online order that was to be ready at 720. When we arrived to pick it up it was not ready, not started, not even next to be cooked. The order was not ready for another HOUR. Having already paid for the order we waited but it was most definitely NOT WORTH a the wait. The food was cold, bland, soggy and way over priced for what we received. The staff was not helpful or apologetic and no Discount was given for the obvious errors on their part.

The food was delicious for a small "to go"'style place. Loved the carne asada and shredded chicken. They also have some frozen alcohol beverages. The place is pretty spacious inside, with an outside seating area that is dog friendly. The chips were stale though, otherwise great place !

Staff here is very professional. Place is super clean as well. Awsome vibe with the color choices. Food was amazing. My picky kids ate all of there food. Best burrito on the East End. Definitely one of my go to spots. You can go to the movies right next door where they have axe throwing and smash paint as well.

Went out to dinner with co-workers after work and ordered ahead about ten minutes before arriving because I was starving. When I arrived my order was not ready and they were out of rice. Bit dissatisfied but the food and atmosphere was worth it.
