I've lived near Mattydale my whole life and transit through daily for work. Dee's is a nice local Diner, great food, professional atmosphere and great meeting point with friends, clients, and family. Dees has always been good to me and that's why they are my go to Diner every time I want to grab a bite to eat. Take out is great and easy. I can't say I have any complaints truly. maybe parking at times but when a place is popular as they are then that is to come which is understandable, even at that then they are in a large parking lot so I would be complaining about not being able to park up front which turns truly into just wining. lol. anyways, Dee's is great with great history as well. try for yourself.

Service wasn’t the best.. asked if we needed jelly and coffee refills.. never returned to the table, repeatedly ignored while saying thank you and good morning to them. Food was hot at least.

We had one server, but her and another not only engaged with us, but other patrons as well and it was so wonderful, we felt like we were regulars on our first visit.

“Absolutely terrible experience! This place clearly doesn’t care about its customers. We were left waiting for over an hour without any explanation or apology. It’s obvious that customer service is the last thing on their mind. If you’re looking for a place that values your time, stay far away from here. It’s shocking how little effort they put into making sure their guests are treated with basic respect. Avoid at all costs!”

I got corned beef hash with two eggs and toast. I asked for my eggs poached: one was under cooked with a broken yolk and the other had no yolk at all. The hash itself was tasty but a bit burnt. Of my two pieces of toast, one was burnt. I was surprised they would serve toast that was half black. My partner’s food was good. The servers were fine at first, but stopped going around to check on tables about midway through our meal. I asked one, who was wearing a political t-shirt, for some hot sauce and instead of getting some for me, she sat down at a table with some guests and showed them pictures on her phone. The other server never came back to our table and likewise sat down with some guests, though she was rolling silverware while she chatted. Rolling silverware can be mind numbing, so I can’t fault her for multitasking. We never received our check while other tables did.
I’m sure this place is fine for regulars, and they’re probably treated very well, but as first time customers I was unimpressed and don’t plan to go back.

Didn't personally go there, used door dash , great food, big amounts , I'm stuffed lol. Thought I ordered an ham and cheese omelette, instead it was a corned beef omelette, but it was great. Shared it with a 7 month old lol and she loved it too!

I really enjoyed my first visit to this location. I ordered the cinnamon raisin French toast and loved it. I just wish for the price I had gotten another full piece of toast.
The sausage gravy was delicious, not to salty like some gravies can be. I had a good serving but did feel that as it wasn't served with homefries or anything else, 10.25 was a high price for what I got. It was absolutely delicious, though.
The last item I ordered was a meatlovers fretta. I'm used to fritata. Very large portions from other locations, but this portion was moderate in size, but also very good.
I felt like the egg dishes were the best value on the menu, and I would highly recommend them.

Food is just OK, but you can't go wrong for a decent meal here. Sausage isn't Gianelli.. bummer.. I'd pay a little more for that. They can accommodate GF. Staff is SUPERB! Friendly atmosphere. Too many fixed in place booths, which can make it hard to accommodate larger groups (6+). Call ahead, for groups over 6 people!

Dietary restrictions: GF friendly (no GF bread tho).

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat from lot into bldg. Little tight inside but doable!
