Been coming here for the past 60 years in all of it's iterations. The current owner offers a great product at a fair price. I usually get the sugar free soft-serve and will keep coming back.Very friendly, too!

Odd interaction with the person at the counter. We didn't realize it was cash only as we had not been there in many years. It took a moment for us to order, we had to see how much cash we had with us before deciding. Then we were lectured about why the owner or person at the counter shouldn't "pay" for others to use their debit or credit cards. The twist ice cream was not good, the chocolate tasted bad. Possibly, we were given sugar free instead of regular ice cream. The window was slammed down after service with a "fake" and sarcastic thank you. Totally weird interaction all around. Will not return. Go to Richard's instead. We tried to do just that, but it was closed so we made the drive to Maybrook and wish we hadn't.

Have stopped in many times. The ice cream ingredients giving it excellent flavor. Always friendly service. I do find it a little pricey, but it seems like most ice cream stands are getting more expensive. I find it a good place for a treat.
