The best Italian around from the best family in the business! It was so nice to dine here again after quite some time and it was even better than I remembered!

Went to La Margherita in Medford for dinner and sat on the pizza side. The restaurant was full, but everything came out quickly and hot.
The Margherita pie (well done in the wood oven) was excellent, simple, fresh ingredients with that great char and crisp you hope for. It comes out super hot, so you have to give it a minute before diving in, but it’s worth the wait.
I also tried the sausage & broccoli rabe grandma slice, which was really good, garlicky, thin and crispy crust with perfectly cooked rabe and flavorful sausage.
The owner and his sons are always around, making sure everything comes out right and customers are happy. It has that true neighborhood, family-run feel.
It’s a great value. Definitely one of the best pizza spots.

Pizza is floppy and their $8 cup of Pasta Fagioli was literally just canned beans and pasta in clear broth. When I sent a complaint with a photo, they tried to tell me it’s the “Napoli” version, which even so, is missing most of the ingredients and spices because it literally was just macaroni and beans in the same clear flavorless broth as the tortellini soup. They don’t take pride in their food apparently. Would never go back. Pretty sad “Italian” food and pizza, and response.

The food is good. But the guy behind the counter, think his name is Anthony and may be the owner. As I waited for my order he was telling racist jokes to other customers with children present. He then tried to belittle a door Dasher because the driver was mad that he had to wait for long a time for the order. I found this behavior very disgusting.

The regular slice was okay, but all the penne alavodka slice was depressingly bland, the service was Orthodox , and the atmosphere was decent, but it could have been better. Overall the service was a solid three
