My first time there, of course I didn’t know what to expect. The woman behind the counter let me know she’d be right with me since I had been waiting in line while she was busy preparing other’s food. I appreciated that. It’s obviously a family-run business and that’s very admirable. It was so cute seeing the little toddler daughter behind the counter interacting with her mother. Anyway the food was very tasty and the woman did not skimp on anything, not even the oxtails. The prices are on the high side, but the portion sizes are respectable considering that. I will go back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be in the Medford NY area of Long Island

Great southern comfort food taste. The fried chicken is plump, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. They give sauce on the side but you probably won’t use it, honestly not needed. Mac and cheese is on point and cornbread is sweet as candy. I highly recommend.

This place was the bomb! I love mashed potatoes, these?? They where absolutely amazing, I don't I'll ever shut up about them. The mac and cheese was also amazing, and so was the fried chicken. Overall the service was quick, and the workers were so nice!! ALSO the lemonade. Buy it, its so good!
