Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 - received terrible customer service when picking up an order. Skinny young guy scruffy facial hair, working online orders. He handed me the bag and asked me if everything was in there. I was picking up this food for someone else. I’m unfamiliar with cava and their menu. I said I’m not sure what you mean is everything in there… I’m not sure what it’s supposed to be in there. He just turned around and started working on another order. I was obviously confused and I was asking him to double check that everything was there since for some reason he thought everything might not be there. Even though he just passed the order himself… I said, excuse me, sir, and he just put his arm up and didn’t even respond to me.

This cava was a bit crazy at dinner time. Feta cheese wasn't broken up and was put in my bowl in huge chunks. Line items could not be replaced fast enough and customers had to wait; staff were a bit frantic. There was food all over the line. Seems like they need more staff.

I’d give a bad rating to this place because I had ordered two VEGGIE bowls and they threw in chicken without even looking at my order properly. That was $60 I wasted. And there is NO use of calling them! No one ever picks up the phone and that is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never eating here again.

This location is notoriously slow and always out of stock with their options. Literally waited 30 minutes for a 2pm pickup time. Not to mention, when I get my order I didn't receive any chicken, when I ordered double chicken. Disgrace of management.

I dont understand management of this place, food is good but service is horrible! Sometimes hours before closing they dont have protein, and just today I went and stood there for 5 minutes and no one came up to me for service. One employee on the phone and two others talking between each other.

Update 3/8/2024 - the food is still great and the staff is hustling but I don't think they have enough bodies working the line when it gets busy.Great food and service. At first it seems a little pricey for what it is, but what they give you is definitely worth it. Thanks for dinner.

Have been coming to Cava - Melville ever since it opened. Food has always been consistently delicious but accuracy and service were painful. Happy to report that after a three month hiatus due to inconsistencies, today’s meal/service from cava was the best it’s ever been and I hope it continues.

I heard so many great things about this restaurant. I took my son, who is 11 yrs old. I tried the bowl Harissa avocado. He tried to build your own bowl rice romaine lettuce and chicken veggies. I have to say the flavors and quality were so delicious. I was so happy to feel full of healthy choices. My son said mom we have to come back. I agreed with him. This location had great parking. I just wish they had someone to clean the tables off. It wasn't a problem, but every other table was left with crumbs or food. Please try this restaurant for delicious food..

Pure failure.I normally order in Jersey City, NJ location and never had my order missing the dressing.1. I'm really puzzled when I must wait and ask one of the workers to give me my order that they are keeping somewhere next not them but not on the pick-up shelf where it belongs. Why?2. The dressing was missing. On a pick-up order. We live 20 min away from the location. I cannot go back for the missing dressing.Seriously - after going public, all this awesome thing you had before is going down the drain???!!!

First time visiting here. It is probably going to be my favorite salad bar option in town. Can’t really speak to its service yet. Food was absolutely delicious. Falafels were warm and so soft. Not cheap but portion is generous.

Delicious, & customizable Mediterranean food. This location is definitely superior to any others in the area. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and they give really good portions here. My favorite is a build your own chicken grain bowl with their garlic dressing.
