No notes! So happy to have Uncle G close to me

I bought some pasta that was on sale. I didn't notice but my friend did. I didn't get the discount. We asked the cashier to check. She said no. There isn't any then she got a manager. And they said the same thing I walked back to where the display was and took a picture and sure and behold. It is discounted. She said well, you didn't give a phone number so you didn't get the discount. It doesn't say that anywhere in the store. She said every sale item in the store. You have to give a phone number. You won't get the discount well. The law is you have to display that and you didn't. She ended up giving me the discount. But she had an attitude the whole time. Why?
I was nice.I was polite.Her name was isa , somebody in management Should have a talk with her treat customers with a little more respect.I don't care if you're tired.You don't have to look angry and p***** at me when I proved you to be wrong.Very bad business and your store is way overpriced.I probably won't be back

Love this place. Food is delicious must try the sausage (cheese and parsley)and their Meat Bolognese sauce…. Omg !!!! Very clean everything looks and smells delicious. Workers are helpful. They even have chairs and tables for customers to eat after they shop, they have a lot of pre-made foods that you can heat up and eat right there, order pizza or have coffee and a fresh baked pastry. Worth the visit!

Wonderful Experience

Nothing compares to it. The efficiency and inventory of a large chain store...but with the feel of the finest private bakeries, delis, cheese shop. prime butchers, specialty shops, grocers, etc. Privately owned excellent pizza concession, nice coffee shop, hot buffet foods, pre-made full dinners that would cost you just as much to make yourself. Not inexpensive, but mostly affordable for many people. As I said, it's totally unique. Stop in if you've never been there.

I love Uncle Giuseppe's in Melville. It has become my favorite grocery store. The store is large, clean, and has everything I need. I find the food quality and selection to be above average. I highly recommend this store.

This upcoming July I’ll be living on LI for 8 years, your store & the Massapequa (only 2 Uncles G stores I shop in) store had some amazing prepared foods in the beginning, so good in fact I had said the food was among the best I’ve had. Your food quality has declined I am sorry to say, I keep going back hoping maybe it’s just me & my taste buds but I’m sorry to say it’s not me & I’m not the only one in my family who said the same thing. This week specifically I bought the Shepard’s pie & chicken pot pie. The dates were good. I tried the Shepard’s pie the same day I bought it and took two bites & was overwhelmed with the taste of salt. Never have I had one from your store(s) with that much salt. Sometimes they are very good and other times they’re ehhhhhh but edible, this last one I threw in the garbage….the chicken pot pie was no better….I also bought your breaded chicken cutlets which I have noticed have gone down in terms of tastiness. As you know neighbors chat & when the name Uncle G’s comes up I’m not the only one who has issues nor am I the only one in my family who has complained about poor taste. I really regret to say that I will be going to another similar store as yours located in Wantagh where everyone swears by & the one time I did have their food I have to say it was pretty good. Your prices have gone up & food quality and quantity is down, I don’t even want to get into how unhelpful & unfriendly some of your employees are because I really don’t care about that I just care about getting my moneys worth which I am sorry to say I am not.

A must

The best fresh lasagna what I found in a supermarket. The cheese selection is great and mostly you can taste it before you buy it. The dessert section is painfully big and good, almost impossible to say no for it.
