Went for a Philly yesterday and had a bet with the guy if it was better than Jersey Mikes. Long story short, I came back for lunch today. The new owners have created an absolutely magnificent menu, adding the depth and flavor of Italian authenticity to every single bite. Pro tip, try The Grilled Mortadella, #29. *chefs kiss* Perfecto.
I was hesitant to try because I was a enormous fan of the original, but I have to say, I was impressed. Friendly service, fresh and tasty food. Cheeseburger sub was phenomenal. Will go again
Only negative, I'm dying for the original Mac salad there and as of right now,salads are not offered. But, I will be back. Bravo submaker 1981.

I love submaker! Great subs with lots of flavor, Italian style. I love the shredded lettuce on the subs it adds the perfect amount of crunch. They are good sized subs and the bread doesn't take up the whole sandwich like other places which I love to see. Staff is always super nice and helpful, I'll definitely be back!
