The Eis House was a great experience! My colleagues and I only came for the restaurant and I highly recommend you do as well. You don't need a room to enjoy great food.We got there as the doors opened and so it was empty. We got quickly sat and right to business. Ordering from a variety of drinks and food that we all enjoyed. The service was great and our server was fun and enjoyable, matching the ridiculous energy of our table. It was a Thursday which is flatbread night and we got a could of amazing ones. You customize it yourself which is great. The restaurant itself was really nice inside, It really transported you from it's inconspicuous outside.I think you'll like it here! Enjoy!

This unassuming location has some of the best customer service I've ever received. The owners work hard to make you feel welcome. They audit the food made in the restaurant so the standards stay high. The facilities are renovated and growth can been seen in the grounds. There's a wonderful manacured view of the river just out back! Sit by the windows or take a stroll.

Was over at Nine mile for the outage this place was close to where I was staying, the food was good the atmosphere was fun. I had a nice time talking to Holly, Chrisy and the rest of the staff they made you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Thanks for everything if I ever come back will definitely go back

Probably will NEVER eat there again seafood was horrible only get a few pieces of each. Brussel sprouts were burnt and cold. Waitress did not come to the table at all until we asked for our bill. I am usually a very good tipper we only left a 10% tip. They don't do separate checks so we had to add up all our own stuff to pay separately. Again won't go there again!!!! Not a big selection of food either!! Very very disappointed

Holiday party was incredible here. For Gin lovers they have Hendricks/Bombay. They have a wealth of great other alcohol selections. Bartenders were very nice and locals appears to like this bar. I really have nothing negative to say others it is off the beaten path in Mexico. Move this placee to Syracuse and ir would a license to print money

I’ve gone to the Eis House a few times in 2023 now, for events. We always try to get there early to enjoy the food. They serve a limited menu to the events, but it’s still so delicious. The place is always absolutely packed for these shows but they still get it done. We were quoted 1hr-1.5hr wait for the food and they had it out in just about an hour. It was hot and delicious. You do have to walk to the main bar for some drinks, but they do have a limited mini bar in the event room. Always impressive how this little venue handles such an enormous volume of guests for these shows!

This place was awesome! Great tasting food, huge portions, and the owner is so kind and made us feel like family! We travel the country fulltime in our RV and this place has some of the best food we’ve found! Highly recommend!

Super food! The burger I had for dinner was out-of-this-world. And this place also has a few rooms to rent overnight. Mine had a cute little deck attached to it. The owners were very friendly...

Clam Chowder was great ?. It had the right consistency and not watered down with potatoes. Great food overall.

A great friend and I ate dinner at Elis House last night and it was fantastic ! The roast beef special was more tender and delicious than any steak I've had in a long time. So good Chef James. The restaurant was so beautiful inside and while we noticed in one of their adds it looked like they only hosted large groups and weddings, they serve dinner for one or two or many! The staff was wonderful and very friendly and informative about the old ice house that was once there. What a great dining experience we had and we definitely will be back again soon.

Who knew hidden in Mexico, New York there are owners and a chef creating delicious magic sprinkled with unexpected spice. We stayed here one night on our way to a Canadian vacation, rented a room and ate dinner at the restaurant. The restaurant was really delicious. I don't know what potion they put in their bread dipping sauce, but it's like a sweet, light marina with a hot kick. I got the French onion soup and a salad and my partner got the EIS EIS or "ice ice" burger. It was so good he did call it a crack burger. And the best part was how affordable the whole meal was ($30 total!!), the sweetest waitress, and really kind bartender who made us laugh. Make an excuse, or chart your adventure to go through this town. You won't be sorry.Rooms: Simple and clean
