Originally went here for the WiFi and convenient location, but the food was amazing. The burger was delicious and fries were perfect. The service is quick and the lady was very kind!! The bathrooms were extremely clean and well decorated. I highly recommend Tinney’s Tavern for anyone wanting a great lunch or dinner.

We had a great family dinner at Tinney’s Tavern, and it’s safe to say we’ll be back! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive — perfect when you’ve got hungry kids in tow.
The decor is charming and unique, with little touches that make the whole place feel cozy and fun. The kids were especially thrilled to get their root beer served in old-school glass bottles — such a fun detail that made the experience even more memorable for them.
The food was absolutely delicious across the board, with generous portions and great flavor. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the menu had something for everyone, kids and adults alike.
Also worth mentioning: the bathrooms were spotless, which is always a big plus when dining out with children.
Tinney’s strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and special — it’s a place where families can enjoy a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Tinney’s for a while and until the new owners came- we were very unimpressed with the inconsistency of quality we encountered.
When the new owners came, the entire place was given a much needed facelift and the food has become consistently amazing. New menu items, new decor, and new waiters/waitresses. Try the wagyu burger- it is AMAZING!!
We love going to Tinney’s now. Well done to the new owners and thank you for bringing this place to new heights of YUM!

What a great place. Stopped here for a beer on the way back from being up north. We got there pretty late so dinner service is winding down and they were out of the fish and chips, but the Fiddlehead beer was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Can’t wait to go back for some food.
Tinney's Tavern on Lake Desolation is a must for dinner when you're out sightseeing in the Northwest corner of Saratoga county. A beautiful little lake.

I came in on Saturday October 12. I haven’t been there in 3 years. The place looks beautiful and the staff was so nice. My friend and I had the classic burgers with fries, and they were so good. I always ask for weldone and received as such. We always stop by when we’re in town. I would definitely reccomend this place to everyone. Food and service was 10/10 We will definitely return in our next visit. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. ❤️

6-7-24. The 5 of us calling ourselves the Wolf Pack found this great gem on Lake Desolation in NY. Mike was our fantastic bartender. Sorry I left my phone in the car and it poured like crazy the whole time we where in the bar, so no pics. I highly recommend supporting local businesses. Love this bar.
