Inviting environment, the owner seemed to know everyone and I appreciate that kind of personalbility. Bagels were good, prices were standard. Will be back

Waited 15 min to get my order taken. Bagels are way too dry shouldn't have to wash it down with coffee becuase bagel gets stuck in throat

I’m not a regular to this store, I’ve only been here twice. But I won’t be returning.
The bagels I bought were okay. Cafe bagel store in Stony Brook is better.
But my issue isn’t with the bagels. It’s with the environment!
The store front has two doors, side by side. One door is locked.
So when my son came with me for the first time, he pulled on the locked door a few times before realizing the other door.
When we entered the store, we were met with an employee and a customer looking at my son and laughing. It was very clear to my son and I that they were laughing at him for trying to get in using the wrong door because they kept looking at him, laughing and then back at each other.
Well, it stopped when I made it known that we knew they were making fun of my son. At that point they wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. It couldn’t be more obvious.
The employee was approximately 60, dry blonde hair, missing teeth on the side and rough looking. Based on the negative reviews here, I’m thinking it may have been the owner.
This is what they do?
Make fun of the customers who keep that business going?
Such a disgrace!

I would give it zero stars if I could. The owner is so obnoxious and rude. When you own a business, you should be a little more kind and patient with the customers. I actually feel bad for the employees because I was in and out in <10 minutes. They’re with him all day. There are plenty of other places in the area.

The bagels are hard and very chewy.. and surprisingly small for the cost. We tried it 2 different times will not be back.there are some great bagel neer by dont recommend.

I had a hard time shelling out $4.50 for a single bagel with scallion cream cheese, but now they raised the price to $4.85. I will not be coming back here and spending almost $5 on one bagel.

Always stop here to get a fried egg sandwich and bagels when I'm in town!

Was meaning to try this spot as I've heard good things for a while and today was the day--awesome service, egg sandy bagel came out quick and even better with the prices and it was exactly what I expected. very glad I was able and to stop in I was treated very well, everything came out spot on thank you

Went in for 10 bagels and came home, counted 9. Idk how you miscount 10 but that’s a problem. Tried calling multiple times and the line was off the hook/busy. 10 bagels plus a piece of coffee cake came out to $18.50. Plus the bagels are small and half are rock hard. What a joke. Oh and the two women employees comment “is this cream cheese or is this throw up?” while customers are waiting to order, was a real classy touch.

I got a toasted cinnamon and raisin bagel with a cup of coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I ordered 2 everything bagels with cream cheese and extra bacon well done. The bacon was well done but cold the bagel was hard as a rock. Never going here again.
