This was a crowded Valentines weekend so the atmosphere was more packed than usual and service a little rushed. This is a popular restaurant, reservations were tough to get, but the food rating depends on what you order. I like being able to bring your own bottle of wine. My partner and I generally love coming to Orto. The food is delicious, and the wait staff is great! However, the (woman) bartender was extremely disrespectful, and I believe she was drunk last night. She insulted my partner’s height/disability and then never returned to take our drink order while she looked at pictures of dogs and made weird childlike squeals/ moaning noises with another party at the end of the bar. It was our 53rd Anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed it again at Ortos. I was a nice touch to see Happy Anniversary on the top of our menu. My wife ordered the Medium Rare steak and half of it was very rare. The waitress offered to bring it back, but we siad that it was ok, because my wife was only going to be able to eat half anyway.
