Small place (more of a takeout joint but had a few tables) but quick service and the food was sooooo good!!!
First time trying their food after moving to the area three years ago. Used to very good Mexican restaurants downstate & was disappointed with this one. Food was not the quality I expected. I was expecting a bill of around $30, but was charged $40 for an order of chips & salsa, mole poblano burrito & an order of chorizo tacos. Wouldn't have minded the $10 surcharge if the food met expectations. Fool me once...

Very disappointed. Ordered spicy Jalisco burrito W/black beans, no rice. There was maybe a tablespoon of meat in it and all black beans. Plus they did not have any of their usual sauces in the little cups, like the green cilantro salsa, salsa verde, red d’arbol salsa. Only some weird super spicy salsa. Though their guacamole was good. They are very chincy in the meat in the burritos. Inconsistent. Next time ordering a meat burrito with no rice OR beans - bet it will be empty.
Ordered carne asada….this is not carne asada. I would have rather been told you didn’t have something rather than have what is practically a pile of taco filling. :/ probably won’t be back. Also everytime I come here I’m charged different than what the menu says.

I used to love coming here for lunch. If this was just about the food, 5 stars all day. They don't "open" until 12 now, and sometimes don't even answer the phone at 12. Most of us in town have a lunch break that starts at 12, so we really need to place an order before so that we can get back to work on time. A lot of time's I will wait until 12 to order, and they still don't answer the phone. At that point, I've lost my opportunity to order from somewhere else due to the time.I wish they would open at 11:30 and pick up the phone. I would probably eat here everyday!

Very unassuming local joint with delicious food and super friendly owners!! The restaurant is around the back of the building so not visible from the street but still easy to find…will def go back!

Not sure why this place has such high reviews. Everything is way too greasy. Did not sit well after consuming their food. Nice people though. Service was good and quick.
This is a modest but authentic Mexican restaurant with a couple of tables and a takeout business. Prices have gone way up - $9 for chips and salsa, $16 for cheese enchilladas?! The rice and black beans were cold and tasteless and the cheese barely melted in the enchilladas served with a sloppy, cold green sauce with dinky plastic utensils. Service was grudging. Why go back?
