The staff were friendly and accommodating from the minute I made the reservation on the phone until we were done dining. Drinks were an added bonus with cocktails that were special to say the least!! Great bubbly mocktail, delicious heirloom tomato salad, grilled zucchini and whipped feta and smashed burger. The beet cake was really good too. Beautiful decor inside with nice vibe, but we opted to sit outside because of the weather. Millerton is a cute town.

This is an absolute gem nestled away in the beautiful town of Millerton. It is worth the short train ride from the city just to experience this cleverly crafted and absolutely amazing food, The amazing service, the finely crafted cocktails and just the ambiance in general. From the moment you arrived you spot exposed brick accentuated with the greens of the forest and mountains around you and twinkling lights. From the moment I walked in you feel at home in this beautiful warm space accentuated by the open kitchen and the lovely bar. The staff does everything possible to ensure you feel at home and understand the mission. Let me start with the food. It was absolutely incredible the chef is so particular about ensuring his use of local farms and ingredients that you can taste the freshness on each delicately crafted plate. You can taste the mountains in the air around you within the food. Fresh, crisp, delicious, and adventurous all at once. I recommend trusting the recommendations of the staff, and ensuring you pair your meal with the expertly crafted cocktails. The mixologist is absolutely genius and I experienced flavors that I never knew went together. Do yourself a favor and visit before this hidden gem becomes viral.

I recently visited Willa with a few industry friends who had been raving about the head chef’s impressive culinary background. Having heard the chef has been thru some amazing Michelin-starred kitchens, I had high hopes for a solid meal—and Willa far exceeded them.
Every dish, from the mushroom toast and oysters to the tuna, gnocchi, karaage-style fried chicken, seafood pasta, and tilefish, was cooked to perfection. The seasoning was spot-on, and the flavors were balanced, bright, and deeply satisfying.
I even gave the chef a hug afterward—because in contrast to so much of the overhyped noise you find in NYC, where service and flavor often fall short, Willa delivered on every level.
Don’t skip the cocktails, either. They’re just as thoughtfully crafted as the food.

This is a special restaurant! Been twice, (edit been 5x now since review) the place is curated in spectacular fashion. The food menu is not extensive, and this usually a sign of an A+ dining establishment... Willa Bar is a top notch experience and worth traveling to! Cocktail menu is where this place really outpaces every other special dining in the area... dessert was exquisite as well.
Service was perfect, and the florals and decorations are so over the top amazing, its something I have never seen at probably hundreds of bars all over the world, the small rocks glass bud vases with 1 or 2 super premium blooms at every seat is a really lavish and thrilling touch.
We left with no leftovers. 5/5 will be back again. Reservations absolutely required for seating I think, or take chances at bar. Next visit we will request bar seating
Raw oysters were on specials menu and I had 13 oysters! Yumm! Should have had 20

Drove up from NYC for the day and I wish I could do that everyday to taste Chef Dan’s food! Everything was spot on. The menu was extremely creative using locally sourced ingredients in things I would never have imagined!! I will be dreaming about the pea shoot icecream for the rest of my life!!
