This was one of the best meals we have had in the Hudson Valley in a long time. Four of us shared several appetizers/salads which were particularly delicious: charred cabbage with some great blue cheese sauce; beet "tartare" was beautiful and so tasty; winter squash salad was a table favorite - it was super thin sliced raw squash with delicious brown butter and raisins; crudo was fresh and all the plates were very generous sized. They have a limited, but very innovative menu for dinner. We enjoy vegetarian dishes so it was great to find some more creative, different items available such as the bean stew that used beans from a local farm. The winter squash salad from the lunga di napoli squash was fantastic - must have been thinly sliced on a mandolin - with golden raisins and pine nuts. We brought some back to enjoy at home.
