A girlfriend and I met for brunch this morning, and it was fantastic. The best French toast I’ve had in years. So good and the grounds were so beautiful

This was such a beautiful place to have dinner. The setting was very elegant, but even better was the outside scenery. We found swans in the pond and many other places for photo ops. If you don't find parking at the main entrance in front, there is more down the road in back, or a second entrance with more.

We stop here every time we drive to upstate from NYC. The food is incredible, the staff is so kind and attentive, and the restaurant itself and the grounds surrounding it are beautiful. The menu changes seasonally which makes coming back exciting every time. Highly recommend taking a walk around buttermilk falls inn after your meal.

Google calls this a fine dining restaurant; it is not. The spicy paloma is not spicy, it tastes like a watered-down grapefruit seltzer. The $22 charcuterie plate is mostly Boar's Head. It literally had regular ol' sandwich-sized slices of ham folded over onto themselves all wet and stuck to the plate. Not, like, slices from a roasted ham: the water-added stuff you'd find in a Lunchables box. The salad was described as starting with romaine hearts but came out as a sad floppy iceberg embarrassment with mealy tomatoes. I like a fresh iceberg wedge! But this was depressing. I saw a review saying this is a farm-to-table restaurant but there is no evidence to support that here at the tail end of peak tomato season. The oysters were fresh and fantastic, and the pepperoni pizza is filling. That's the best they could pull off last Friday: a dish that requires almost zero intervention and a pepperoni pizza. Our server felt like he was as ready to leave as I was. Last thing: if you go, I recommend sitting outside. We were in the dining room where they play seven songs from the soundtrack of a Hallmark movie in a maddening loop. My wife and I have fun no matter where we go, thankfully this place didn't ruin her birthday dinner. But she deserves better!

My wife and I went to this restaurant Henry's at the Farm, in Milton, NY. We were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary, and the overall ambiance of the the place was amazing. The host was welcoming, and that made us feel at home.
The food was top tier! The trout I had melted in my mouth. My wife had the stuff shrimp with crab meat, omg! Also, the bread is amazing, which is made in-house. We also had the salad, which was chunks of lettuce and bacon bites. That was unique and tasted really good. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Thanks to Marc and the staff for a great night out. We are definitely going again. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We love Henry’s. It’s a local Hudson Valley gem that’s often overlooked. The views of the grounds at Buttermilk Falls is stunning. The service is great and the food is always delicious. The upscale cocktails menu leaves me with indecision often. I always want to try them all. This evening in May out on the deck I had a mule. It was wonderful.
They do change their menu seasonally so these items may or may not be available as shown exactly now.
I dined with a friend. We both had pasta dishes. Hers had sausage, veggies, & orecchiette pasta. Mine was a delicious rigatoni eggplant & other veggies option.
Dessert was also wonderful served with cappuccino. The berry crumble bake was dreamy. This chocolate dessert was decadent and rich.
Love that Henry’s uses lots of locally sourced ingredients. Go support your local Hudson Valley farmers with an upscale treat in Milton, NY.

Dinner for 8. Gorgeous dining room and bar. Upscale but unpretentious. Interesting menu and the food was wonderful. We were staying at the Inn and felt no guilt about lingering over after dinner drinks. A great evening!

Sophia a brand new waitress to henry’s and Xavier the bar tender blew us away w one of the finest dining experiences we have had ! i have dined in some of the worlds finest restaraunt’s and many times at Henry’s, these two- were at the very top of exceptional ! the food is always good and the atmosphere is lovely- this was in a different level of service ! when we go back, without a doubt we will ask for these two.
to be fair, the bus boy and other staff seemed also very on task and i am sure had we had more interaction- they would all prove a new level of excellence e

Fine dining in area only. Food was stupidly made, cheap, lacking any finesse, and staff pushed elegance of dishes that did not exist

I tasted the fries first. Then came the verdict from my daughter: “The fries at this restaurant are the best I’ve ever had.” And while kids can be wildly unreliable narrators - see also: “I don’t need a nap” or “I definitely fed the dog”, this time, she nailed it. Truth from the mouths of babes... or in this case, truffle fry-fueled mini food critics.
I had the truffle fries, and yes, they were everything. Crispy with the kind of structural integrity engineers dream of. Perfectly seasoned with no greasy regret and no bland despair. Just pure, crunchy joy with a whisper of truffle, enough to make you feel fancy without requiring a second mortgage.
To keep things balanced (because health, obviously), I ordered a Blue Line winter lager. It was rich, smooth, and exactly what I wanted to be drinking while pretending fries count as a vegetable. No notes.
Service? Lovely. Genuinely friendly, not the Stepford kind. They were attentive without hovering and kind without sounding like they’re being forced at butter-knife point. A rare and refreshing combo.
So, would I go back? Let’s put it this way: I’m already planning my next visit. The fries might be the gateway, but the experience as a whole is what keeps you hooked. And if my kid is right again, I might just let her pick stocks next.
