The ambiance is wonderful and the food was delicious. We had the bronzini, short ribs, duck and sauerbraten. The portions were a good size and the dishes were prepared well. The wait staff are always warm and friendly - treating you like family. Very enjoyable.

My husband and I took our uncle out for lunch. We never went to Davenport Press for lunch. We've always gone there for dinner. Their lunch menu is great. Hubby and I both had the jerk chicken wrap. It was delicious. Our uncle had a special dish the pot roast. He said it was very good. As usual the service and ambiance was excellent. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants good food and great service .

The Davenport Press in Mineola NY has been around for many years, and I just had the opportunity to go there for the very first time. I absolutely loved it. The ambiance is wonderful.. it's like a trip back in time. White tablecloths, the most exceptional staff and service and last but certainly not least the food was amazing. I had the lobster tails and my husband had the prime rib, both were delicious. I hope the Davenport stays with us for a long time to come.. I give...
