My family loves this deli but when I had food delivered to my house today and we asked that the food be left at my front door. I have a dog that goes crazy when the doorbell is rung and we told them to not ring the doorbell because of my dog but the delivery driver rang the bell to get my signature even though we asked to forget about the signature

I live very close to this shop (walking distance) and have visited them a few times. I can't believe I haven't written a review for them. If I want to drive, there is ample street parking. This is a fairly large shop that is nice and bright and always clean. You can see that the owners take a lot of pride in their business.I started out eating their food ts some food display shows where they featured many of their items. Lately I have been going there to pick up breakfast. They have a small nook with tables and chairs if you want to sit, relax and enjoy your food there. They have more than a few refrigerators in their large shop with plenty of stock. They seem to have everything. They have an amazing selection of food for lunch and a special salad grouping for your customized salads. Many local people have catered from here and I only hear great things about their food and service.I will definitely be visiting them more often and looking forward to trying more of their very complete selections.KUDO's to the team at Long Island Gourmet.

Just had the best experience. I walked in, got a smile and hello from everyone working there (not that it's necessary). Food didn't take long at all. They were very appreciative of tips. Very nice workers, clean place. Food is great (I got the Breakfast Burrito & Floral Park sandwich). I definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back.

I’ve been a fan of this place for years but that has come to a screeching stop. A good friend of mine was harassed by the daughter of the owners of this place. She was calling him and his mother racial slurs over the phone. Behavior like this is 2023 needs to be stopped!!!

I would like to share my disgust regarding the owner of this establishment daughter. I am the mother who witnessed owners daughter making multiple harassing calls to my son and using Racial slurs to him which I witnessed. What makes this super scary is the fact my son does not know her nor had any interactions with her. There is no place for racism in this country, please beware of doing business at this establishment!

Had a graduation party for my daughter and Michael walked my wife and I through everything. I'm not over stating that the food was excellent. Michael even called the night before to make sure we were all set up. Even though I told him we were fine, he still provided all of the "serving" stuff that we might need. 1. His service is so helpful and he is a nice guy. 2. The food is plentiful and really is gourmet. Everyone loved it. Everyone. 3. The price is very fair right off the bat. No games. The only negative I can think of is that after eating the leftovers and not being able to restrain myself I really need to go on a diet now and hit the gym!

My husband and I have been eating at LI Gourmet for over 20 years. The food is always very fresh, delicious and they offer a variety of different dishes. The staff is always friendly, attentive and prepares the food in a timely manner. I have also used them for catering jobs where they offer all the food of a larger establishment but at better prices and even tastier. I would highly recommend LI Gourmet for all your culinary needs.

One of my favorite places to grab a sandwich! Everyone there is really friendly. LIG has been making me a special sandwich I created when I was 12 for over 10 years and nowhere else even compares. My go to for a consistently good meal.

I started writing a really wordy review of my personal party details, but realized it doesn't make sense to do that. The things that matter: the food was outrageous and Mike, the owner of LIG, is incredibly helpful. He's calming and wonderful to work with. I had a small issue with an outside resource, completely unrelated to LIG, but Mike offered to step in and help out. Jen, the waitress and John, the chef were outstanding. Additionally, the party planner Mike recommended and works with, Maureen Giordano/The Perfect Touch Decor, far exceeded my expectations. Her simple little touches made everything look stunning. I could not have asked for a better full-service team to allow me to enjoy my party.
