Would highly recommend this place! Everything from the carefully curated menu and the unique products on the shelf, to the interior design and color palette giving relaxed yet elevated vibes, to even the fragrant hand sanitizer were exceptionally amazing. The staff was very sweet and helpful. And the food was delicious, while the portion size was plentiful.

Wow, love this new addition to the neighborhood and it’s a 30 second walk to the train as well. I had the classic ham sandwich and it was simple but delicious with good quality bread. I had the cardamom bun and OMG!!! It was honestly better than cardamom buns I’ve tried in Sweden where they are from—so soft and fluffy without being too dense and so flavorful. And the cherry on top is the customer service! The women behind the counter are so warm and friendly—I had a lovely encounter with her. Definitely felt great leaving a tip and will definitely be back anytime I am stopping at Mineola!!!!

I ordered the Japanese Egg Sando sandwich: didn't like it, had cucumbers and they tasted like it was about to turn to pickles. I also ordered the Woodbreeze Grilled Cheese: the cheese is so silky yummy and has grilled onions, nice suprise and came with Tomato Bisque Soup: so flavorful and thick. Place is a little pricey but it's Mineola. If I have extra cash I will stop and try something else.

Love this place! A great place to sit down and have lunch in Mineola. Loved their charcuterie and sandwich boards for home / corporate caterings and their Japanese Egg Sando!

Came in for a tea/coffee and was blown away by the variety noting the Indian artisan brands. The owner was on deck, spoke with her, so proud of her. Hot Masala chai was good (milk could have been cooked more as is the tradition but I get it, masala was on point though). Had the aubergine sandwich and that was unexpectedly the best sandwich I’ve had— the bread pillowy the mozzarella so fresh the breaded eggplant didn’t taste stale like it usually does in other places. Wasn’t heavily breaded either. Pesto is made in house. So so impressed and pleased. Will be coming here to discover more. 🤍🧡

Oak & Orange is a hidden gem in Mineola and has been my go-to lunch spot on Long Island for months. Their innovative menu combines global flavors with simple, healthy classics. It’s a modern twist on sandwiches, bowls, and salads. My favorites are the Mediterranean salad (the marinated chicken is incredible!), the spicy turkey sandwich (packed with flavor thanks to their house-made chipotle aioli), and the Japanese egg sando. Don’t miss their pantry items either—great finds from around the world. And the staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—you won’t be disappointed!

The lady that made my coffee today really needs to learn how to handle food safely. Witnessed her open the trash bin with her hands even though there’s a foot pedal. Proceeds to make my coffee, touch the trash bin again with her hands and then smothers the cup lid with the hand she open the trash bin.

Good food and friendly staff. Could use some more seating. They need to work on their drinks. The chai tea latte was a bit flat and lacked depth. Try steeping the tea for longer with cardamom , cinnamon and real Indian black tea powder if you aren’t already doing so. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were fantastic.
