Not a good take out experience. Food was just barely okay for the price. I had the felafel platter with rice and soup. Falafels were overcooked and burnt. The tahini sauce tasted bland and cheap Rice was terrible! Tasted almost like a box of rice a roni. They forgot the side of soup with the platter. Also ordered a large Greek salad with chicken souvlaki. There were about 4 small pieces of chicken!! They forgot to put peppers on the salad. The dressing was just pure oil which also leaked all over the inside of the bag and then onto my pants!!! Also ordered French fries which I ended up just throwing in the garbage they were so bad.

Let's start with how the restaurant is family-style. The food is exceptional, and the service is great. The dishes are authentic Greek cuisine, making me feel like I'm in Greece. I look forward to trying a different item every chance I get, although it's not often due to the distance from where I live. Stop in and enjoy a fulfilling meal!

I love this place and the people who work/own it. They’ve been serving up the best Greek salad with their magical dressing forever. It’s not fancy, but anytime I’m in Mineola or even on Long Island, I’ll try to stop by for lunch. I hope they continue indefinitely and don’t change a thing.

Mediocre food for how much they charge, rude staff, and they make up their business hours as they go along. If it wasn’t located near the hospital it would’ve closed down a long time ago. I once tried to order delivery and they refused to deliver to me because they said I lived too far away even though I live less than a mile from them. Mineola deserves better options for Greek food.

There is not much to say about this place other than the people are nice the food was fresh & hot & it's near the hospital. I ordered 2 plates the chicken souvlaki on a pitas and a burger. My only complaint is that there was no pickles or coleslaw which would have made the burger better. The place is small and could use an update, but most patrons take out their food. They are priced fairly for the amount of food you get.

Man at the register had a nasty attitude with me after I asked a question about my order. The food was disgusting. Ordered two chicken Gyros, lil meat with lots of lettuce. Might as well ordered a salad. French fries was stale. Waste of money, food went in the trash. Will never go back. I don't like to leave bad reviews, however after I wasted my money here and their bad attitude, had to let others know.

Food was actually quite good, but as other comments have mentioned, the portion is far undersized for the price. This was a Greek salad with souvlaki chicken for $17 and you can see the amount of meat.. Won't be returning for that reason.

Work as a nurse in the area and i ordered the gyro platter. Honestly for the price the meat ratio wasn't equivalent. To pay $18 on a platter the quality and quantity should be better. My meat was dry and the Tzatziki was watery. Other options in the area at a better price point.
