Been a long time customer for years and recommending the food for a long time to friends. Unsure of what has changed but I tried to place an order 3:00PM on a Monday 3/25 and kept being put on hold.Thought okay it was busy, put on hold, 2-3min wait, hangup, maybe they forgot about me, same thing happens when I call again. I drive over to order in person, and for my own sanity I call while in the parking lot and I am placed on hold again; walk in and the place is empty and the person answering phones is playing with their own phone, guess I really needed to be put on hold?I try to purposely avoid ordering pickup on grubhub for local restaurants so they can make the full profit, but what is the point if the phone service is horrible when it is not even busy.Food is great still, will always miss the truffle sauce when they first opened up.

Lobster tastes great. Price seems good, but other places come with side of fries and ends up actually cheaper.Should come with at least 1/4 portion of fries with the roll, who wants to eat a roll with no sides?Ordered fries but then way too much. Make price half less and half less amount.Bit dark and gloomy, not most cheerful environment. Lobster is a treat, should have happier vibes.

Rex Burger & Lobster had been recommended to me plenty of times and I was happy to find out that the hype is real. This restaurant has a vintage diner feel with some of the best lobster I’ve had in a very long time. I had the classic lobster roll and it was so delicious. The lobster was cooked perfectly and they definitely didn’t skimp out. My friend had the lobster burger and very much enjoyed it also. We will be back!

Cute burger joint with good food and can wine and alcohol selections. Prices are decent - it fits the food you are getting. I would come back again.

Absolutely the BEST Lobster Roll from NY to Maine bc it's all fresh, delicious LOBSTER from the coldest waters of the North Eastern USA. Just the BEST America has to offer! Same goes for the burgers: in beef or chicken. Crispy Shrimp Sandwich is outrageously delicious! My sons die for the wings! To say nothing of the Haägen Dazs Shakes, Rex's homemade Ring Dings & the list of American Supermodels goes on!

Great ambiance, tasty food and quick service. Good options and prices. I enjoy the lobster pizza and the lobster Philly cheesesteak!

$25 for a fish sandwich and fries and both were a disappointment!. The first time I tried the Rex the fish sandwich it wasn't very good - horrible fishy smell and oily. I thought I'd try it again in case my prior visit was an anomaly. Sadly, went today to grab lunch and it was equally bad. The fish just doesn't taste fresh (with a smell to match) it was oily and the fries were soggy and didn't taste great. I've eaten fried fish many places and it's never smelled so strongly. Less important but a factor in my rating was the lady at the counter who had zero customer service skills. Save your $$, there are better places to spend your money.

Really wanted to love this place when they opened about 8 years ago. I went once for my husband's birthday along with our friends. I was expecting a lot more. Their lobster burger is supposedly the show stopper. It was just a-ok in my book. Their burger and patty sizes are also not too impressive. It is also overpriced. The only good thing was that it was self service and quick. We ordered and paid at the counter and ate at our table. I'm not sure if things have changed since but I'm not enticed to go back for a second visit.

I have been wanting to come here for years and finally made my way on a quiet Monday afternoon. Upon entry it was odd... the one male Asian server looked and us and we looked at him. No words were exchanged, no pleasantries. Kind of awkward. The female at the register greeted us as we got closer towards the back where orders were to be made. Interestingly, the menu online in their website is not all that they serve. You'll see a much more vast menu on site which includes pizza, grilled cheese, and Philly cheesesteaks... and of course the burgers, lobsters, and fries. We ordered two Rex burgers, a warm classic lobster roll, and fries with spicy mayo sauce. You seat yourself after ordering and paying. Free water served in pitchers. The food did not take long to come out. Within 5-10 minutes. The lobster roll came out first, then the burgers and fries. - Warm classic lobster roll: Plenty of lobster on a deliciously toasted bun with butter. I probably enjoyed the bun more than anything. Lol. Nice crunch with the butter. Obviously the lobster itself was very enjoyable. Large pieces of fresh lobster. You can really taste the subtle lobster flavor since nothing else is on it to mask or overwhelm. - Rex burger: This was really good! Very juicy. The size was just right. Each bite was the perfect bite. It's just a regular old fashion burger without all the bells and whistles, but a good one. My husband said it reminded him too much of an In-N-Out burger... whatever that means. - Fries: I usually am not a fan of shoestring fries but these were tasty. The spicy mayo sauce that I made extra for was meh. Not the typically spicy mayo I expected like from Asian establishments. This was just literally a spicy sauce that has no element other than being overly spicy for no reason... there's no depth to the sauce. Stick with ketchup. Overall I thought the food was quite delicious and I am glad to have finally been able to check this restaurant off my Yelp list. Would I be back though? I'm not quite sure. I mean the prices are certainly very reasonable.

Food was good but something weird... Ordered burger but the bun came oily...maybe it's the way they do it...
