The food was underwhelming for the price. Their signature eggs Benedict dish was very disappointing - the poached eggs were cooked solid, with no runny yolk - a travesty for eggs Benedict! Hence the dish was dry and unsatisfying. Other egg dishes ordered came with only one piece of dry toast - no butter or jam offered. The brunch price is supposed to include two complimentary drinks. None were offered, and we were the only diners in the restaurant.

I recently visited The St. James in Mineola and had a mixed experience. First off, if you're not a fan of beef or chicken, your options are going to be pretty limited. I was hoping for something different and was disappointed to learn that the shrimp tacos—something I was looking forward to—are no longer on the menu.
Speaking of the menu, there’s definitely some inconsistency between what’s listed online and what’s actually available in-house. It seems like they've updated the menu, but the changes haven’t made it to their website yet. That made deciding what to order a bit confusing.
I ended up going with a salmon taco, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t for me—I ended up tossing most of it. On a more positive note, the fries were great, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking wasn’t ideal, but there is adequate seating inside, which helped make the overall experience a bit more comfortable.
I’m not writing this place off just yet. I’m willing to give it another shot, hopefully with better luck finding something on the menu that suits my tastes.

The places sucks i got my item stolen from there by a staff member don't trust that place for nothing
Three of us stopped for a quick bite to eat. There were several tables filled with fellow diners. We were sat immediately. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable. Our waiter visited us throughout our meal to check in. He was polite and respectful. The drinks were well made. Our food was hot and tasty. The prices were on point for the meal provided.

My friend suggested this place when we were going out for lunch and talked highly of it. This was honestly one of the best reubens I’ve ever had. Service was great! It was very quiet, but it was also during the day on a work day. Would definitely go back if I’m ever in that area!

Had 2 French onion soups and the nachos plate, plenty for 2 and delicious, not overly salty like most restaurants these days, great for a chilly afternoon. Mikey was the host with the most, personable and very attentive, covering all customers and always there whenever needed, good guy all around. Haven't been here in years and didn't disappoint, always liked the St.James Recommended And Fresh Guinness's!
