This used to be one of my favorite spots but it is not the same. The vibe and atmosphere is great but the wait for food ruined. It took us an hour and a half just to get food. The waiter was extremely apologetic about the delay which was nice but still not enough. I would say this was a one off but it has not been the case. Over and over the food is late. If you're looking for a place to grab a quick bite this isn't it.

My food was good. It was brunch, however, it was cold and so was my friends burger. Another friend had the Shepard pie and that was fine. The waitress was lovely and helpful. The attention to us was phenomenal, so they gladly re-heated our food. Priced right and a very cozy atmosphere. I would go again but I’d let them know beforehand that I wanted only hot food.

Ehhhh.. Irish Wanna Be Irish Pub.. Brunch menu till 4 on a Saturday!? Wanted fish & chips or hunters pie, What a let down set menu with breakfast food till 4PM. Will say they pour a good Guinness. Had a traditional American appetizer nothing Irish on this menu at this time. Service was good but semi robotic and not warm. If you want Irish food don't come here on a Saturday till after 4PM...

Not sure what happened here. When they first reopened in 2020 the food was so good, whoever was back there knew what they were doing. Now the food is just mediocre and the menu hackneyed.

Not a big fan this time around. Wings were not that good, dry and lukewarm. Pretzel bites were tasty but dipping sauces were very watery and not very flavorful. Hummus was ok but pita chips were not pleasant at all. I would have preferred non toasted pita bread because the chips were like very hard crackers. Fish and chips was good.

Yesterday myself and my cousin stopped by the popular St James for lunch. Both the exterior and interior are quite nice. They have a full and vivacious bar.The dining is separated from the bar. They have a lot space for eating including an outside area, nice for large parties. The food is good and the server was very helpful.I I had Minestrone soup and the Shepard Pie. They have plenty TV's for the games.Parking is curbside but there are big parking lots near.St James has been a staple in Mineola for a long time right by the NYU Long Island Hospital campus. This is a fine Irish pub. Check it out.G
