I always stop in for their fantastic seafood salad, potato salad and some times, their rice pudding. The food is always very good and the owners are always welcoming and friendly. Pay them a visit soon!
Amazing
Drove 20 miles to try their German potato salad, it was just OK, there was just something missing most likely the bacon. The pirogi and kielbasa were good.
It’s an outdated deli but it’s what gives it its nostalgia of a much simpler time where food doesn’t have to look pretty to taste good
Best Breakfast Sandwich around by far. Owners are great. Never disappoint. Very consistent.

Around 1970 or so, there were two delis on Jericho Turnpike, Johnny’s and Werner’s. (honorable mention to Ardito’s, which is still there and apparently still owned by the Ardito’s). I noticed Werner’s was still there. Werner must be about 100 years old by now. When I checked it out I learned Werner’s isn’t really Werner’s anymore. I read a review that said the new owners would have made Werner proud. I have to agree. A little less emphasis on salads and catering, but great selection of specialty sandwiches, excellent fresh bread and rolls, and fair prices.
I used to stop there most days when I was working in new Hyde park meats are fresh and they make really good sandwiches I'm no longer in the area but stop by once in awhile now
