We were here on Saturday at 12:00 PM. After we ordered all the food we wanted, two white customers who sat next to us received their noodles first, while we kept waiting for ours. We had ordered many more dishes than they did, but the restaurant chose to serve the white customers first and the Asian customers later.
If you are white, you will get priority service here. If you are Asian, be prepared to wait an extra 30 minutes just to get your ramen.

It's a bit unusual to find an authentic Japanese ramen place in the middle of Garden City, but they are every bit as good as any of the Manhattan places with chefs from Japan.
There are tons of other ramen places in Nassau County, but none of the dozen I've been to are nearly as authentic as Youta, though plenty of others are also delicious.
It's unamericanized authentic ramen that tastes amazing. It looks and feels like a ramen shop from Japan, complete with Jpop, plain wood decor and an anime style mural.
The tempura is also done right, authentic Japanese style, not the thick batter you find commonly in Americanized restaurants. Closest I can think of in NYC is Tempura Matsui, which is high praise for Youta Ramen considering the quality of Tempura Matsui.

We ordered Youta Ramen, Katsu curry rice, Una Don, Shishamo tempura.
The Ramen is a surprise, soup is hot enough, the thin noodle just right with the soup, the noodle is al dente at the beginning & soft when you finish, the whole experience is different than other Ramen spot, soup was not hot enough, noodle was thick & soft.
The Katsu is another surprise, crunch on the outside with soft & juicy meat, yummy. Rice is always not enough with slightly spicy curry.
The Shishamo tempura is amaze, it is fresh hot, taste good with fresh lemon juice & the mayo sauce.
The Una Don is a bit small with the price, unagi are soft with lots of favor.

Even though we live around the corner, we haven't had the chance to try this place until now. The verdict? Was great! The staff was super friendly and nice. They explained everything and helped us with our selections. Everything was super tasty...Highly recommend!
Would definitely recommend to come here with friends or family. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a friendly staff. The entrees and appetizers are all great!

Great staff, nice ambiance, awesome food! Recommend the Youta Ramen (the spicy one if you want a little kick). Chicken Karaage with the white sauce was delicious. The Shishito Peppers was great as well,. good for sharing. Fries for the kiddo. Overall, really great ramen for the Mineola area. Recommend 100%
