Food is exceptional! I felt like I was in Japan or in East Village circa early 2010’s. They have an amazing menu and I can’t wait to try the menu options again! Their tempura is the best thing in New York! Very close as you can get to the tempura from Tokyo. Very light and crisp, not fatty or oily whatsoever.

I just ate here and it was so good I HAD to write a review immediately after the meal. Being vegetarian, I got the Mushroom Bun & Shoyu Truffle Ramen. The Mushroom Bun was the perfect start to my meal. The fluffy, soft bun combined with the fresh, bright greens and the umami mushrooms, sauce, and cheese was so delicious. I wanted to get a second one as soon as I ate it, but figured the ramen would be large...and it was. The ramen was so rich and flavorful! I loved the various textures of the noodles, mushrooms, and tempura. I have never had bamboo shoots like the ones in this dish and they were so delicious! Make sure to add an egg to your ramen, they were perfectly cooked. I ended the meal with the mango parfait which is a must, must, must! So fresh and creamy. Again, the various textures really made this parfait stand out. I can't wait to come here again!

Btw, the cucumber wasabi highball is so refreshing!

This noodle spot blew me away. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked with just the right amount of bite, and every topping was fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

This place is cute and homey. I ordered the smelt fish tempura and raw octopus — both of which I rarely see on menus — and they met my expectations. The dishes were beautifully presented, and even the fries were surprisingly good. The waitress was attentive, warm, and incredibly efficient. Although she was on top of everything, she remained relaxed and cheerful the entire time, which made the whole meal feel especially enjoyable.

Such a delightful find on Mineola. We just came back from a trip to Japan not too long ago. This is probably the most authentic Ramen you can get in the area. The staff is also super nice and attentive. The ramen is absolutely out of this world made with fresh bambo shoots and good quality cutlets. The broth is fantastic. Highly highly recommended. Even the ambiance resembles the mom n pop eateries you typically find in Japan.

Really solid ramen & rice dishes. On par with highly rated & way more expensive places in NYC. Can’t go wrong with any dish, but I particularly enjoy the katsu curry.

Small and cozy place. The ramen is fantastic. The place gets busy due to the size of the restaurant, so make a reservation.

This has become one of my boyfriend’s favorite places. Everything we’ve tried is delicious. Cool fact (!) This establishment is Thai owned and operated, and IMO, they have done a fantastic job at the craft.

-The chicken was so crispy and delicious! Not only was the skin super crispy, but the chicken meat was also super juicy.

-The sauce complimented it so well, it was slightly acidic and citrusy so the dish didn’t feel too oily or heavy.

-The carppaccio was so fresh I could taste the ocean. The carpaccio sauce contained hints of citrus and with the fish was savory and sweet.

-The ramen also was amazing! Usually, in NYC, the ramen broths are too salty or heavy, here at youta ramen, the broth was light and each bite left you wanting more! Before I knew it, the entire bowl was gone! The chashu was especially good - it was very thinly sliced and tender! The meat basically fell apart in your mouth. The egg was perfectly cooked! It was slightly sweet, probably because of how fresh it was! It was so soft and tender - it felt like you were biting into a cloud.
