My wife and I love 88 Charles st. When we are in need of a date night we frequently go here. The specials are always amazing. The owner/manager is very in touch with the day to day and will frequently check on patrons as well as help staff with tables. It really is a special place.

Went to 88 last night with 18 people we had reservations for 8:30 pm , the accommodations , service, and and food were phenomenal . I highly recommend this restaurant. I cannot wait for my return trip to try that tomahawk steak.

Our friends dine here often & always talk highly of it so we finally made it there with them for dinner tonight! The food was amazing & so was the service & the vibe was great! My husband had the Tomahawk & I had the Fruitti De Mare & both were fantastic! The seafood was cooked perfectly & the sauce was so so good! We also had the Ahi Tuna appetizer which was delicious! (Our table got desserts -2 Tiramisu & a Cheesecake which looked incredible). Next time I’m saving room for that Tiramisu for sure!

We came here spontaneously for a post wedding dinner and glad we did. The owner was so sweet he came out and greeted us and gave us a complementary creme Brule. All the servers were attentive and welcoming , recommend the wagu appetizer. Very generous and filling portions. Will go back and also support the owners other business Carmelos.

Had the best time at 88 Charles! From the drinks to dessert, everything was superb. We made reservations at 8 and it took time for us to be seated HOWEVER they made it work and were able to create a table for us which our whole group really appreciated. Most of us got espresso martinis and they were phenomenal(we will go back to try more of their cocktails). Our table had a mix of pastas, burgers, risotto special, and obviously the Tomahawk. The Tomahawk was made at the perfect temperature and it was crisp on the outside. We are all excited to come back and I absolutely recommend this place to anybody who is considering to try it! Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our experience 11/10!
P.S. I hope they make the Cioppino a regular menu item because it was out of this world!!!

For an entrée, I usually go with the chef’s burger, with flexible side options—a touch I always appreciate. The knowledgeable staff is quick to provide details on the specials and ensures a seamless dining experience. This has become one of our favorite local restaurants. We were there this past Thursday. As usual, the food was excellent. From the wine to appetizers to dinner ....everything was delicious . Topped off with dessert and espresso martini! I would also like to point out how much I appreciate that the owner always stops by the table to make sure everything is alright. We are looking forward to a return visit!
