Today my husband and I went to have dinner at Country Pride. The place was not busy, and although the service wasn’t the best, it was acceptable overall. The problem was that the waitress only came to our table about three times and never asked if we wanted more drinks. Before we were about to leave, my husband asked for a refill to go, and she had the nerve to tell him that he had to pay for the drink because she had already closed the check even though we were still sitting...

My three star reviews comes down to portions for the price. Not nearly enough food for the cost. It was tasty, wait wasn't too long, service was acceptable. The broccoli was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent. The iced tea was not good at all however. I really don't know how you mess up iced tea.

Nice folks and tasty food in the diner but the days of $5 breakfasts are long gone... about triple that for starters if you drink water. French toast was quite filling and worth ordering again (see photo).
