Chicken with garlic sauce to go was tasty as expected. I'd order it again. Chicken was cooked properly with no strange pieces. Flavor was good and not overpowering.

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant for years until recently. The quality of their food has gone down tremendously. They changed their dumplings among other things. I ordered beef with broccoli and I received one thin tiny slice of beef in my dish. And ever since then I have not been there and I have found another place that still believes in quality food.

I haven’t been to Gold Chain in years since we found better options locally. We wanted Chinese last night but it’s a Monday and our regular place was closed so we ended up back at Gold Chain. This used to be our regular place and we used to love it, but it has changed drastically. First, it took 3 attempts at calling to get answered. Then I was told 35 minutes. I went in after 50 minutes and the food wasn’t ready. Boneless ribs had no flavor, pork fried rice was not good. Fried dumplings were all dough and barely any meat and the egg rolls were also mostly dough. I will not be going back there again. It was awful.

This was my 1st time trying them, and I absolutely loveeee their food! I have been going to China city on 17k since I was 7y.o. never wanted to try nobody else, but I'm gonna have to trade them for Gold Chain! EVERYTHING was awesome! It had a grilled taste! From the wonton soup to my veggy lomain, to the sesame chicken to the pork fried rice. LOVED IT! ❤️ The service was excellent as well! The older lady that took my order, I think she was the cook & cashier also, she's a wonderful sweet lady & she's fast! Absolutely love this place! #1 fav from now on. Consider me a loyal permanent costumer! Keep up the magnificent work!

Ordered from Gold Chain last night Kung Pao Chicken and Cashew chicken. The king poa had maybe one piece of chicken it in and was all broccoli stems. The cashew chicken was the same thing. Barely any cashews and broccoli stumps. Insult to injury the fortune cookies were empty. Usually love this place but I’m not going back after this. One dish being slightly off is forgivable. But both dishes that were kitchen scraps of unused veggies. No thanks. ??

They are inconsistent with the taste of the food. Its not horrible but definitely not great either.

Ive been eating here for years. The quality has gone down hill post covid. The amount of chicken and meat in the dishes has diminished while the prices have increased. The food is now bland. Additionally, spare ribs with the bone , is no longer on the menue. The interior is not inviting at all. My last few times there, the seats weren't even taken down from atop the tables for people to sit. Its time to look for another neighborhood chinese restaurant.
