For a rare taste of sourdough pizza, check out this modest pizzeria in Montrose, Westchester County, NY. I recommend a visit on Tuesday evenings when the pizza is baked outdoors in a wood-fired oven. The fragrant pizza crumb is tender because of the dough’s high water content. The crust is slightly crispy for easy chewing compared with the “cardboard” rims of pizzas sold elsewhere. I love the Margherita pizza. Do call ahead to place your order.
Best pizza on planet earth. They're killing it. Better than anything in Westchester and the city. Extremely flavorful. Light , crisp crust. Authentic basil, oil, mozz, toppings. 77% fermentation. Sourdough. Great stuff
