Great little restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. But there a dirt Rd trail next to them called Bear Swamp. Beautiful drive bout a 30 minute drive if u just coasting

Inedible food! Looked like he cleaned the grill top with the omelette served up on a plate. Took one bite and the grit of grease and carbon build up mixed in crunched like sand on my teeth. When we entered the place there was a dog food bowl at the door outside. I know now why as my food must have ended up in that when I left. Should be shut down before they kill somebody!

Must have an ant infestation. We had 2 large black dead aunts in our drinks and live ones on our plates of food. Owner was apologetic but seemed new to the food industry. I left with concerns he does not follow basic food safety precautions.

I only tried this place once, several years ago. The place was so infested with fleas that they were hoping on the white paper placemats at my table setting. While I was waiting for the waitress to bring my water, I killed 3, wrote a note on the placement, circling the dead fleas, and left. I had several bites on my ankles. I hope they've dealt with that, but I know I won't ever go there again. With fleas that prevalent, they're in the food too. YUK.

After a great day xc skiing in Bear we ended up at the Colonial Lodge for a delicious lunch. Andy makes most of the items himself. The tomato bisque is delicious as are the hand cut fries and burgers. Thanks Andy. Will be seeing more of you this winter

It was the best cooked steak I have ever ordered. Prices are great. Service was outstanding. Very welcoming and friendly people that make you feel like you have been there a thousand times, although it was my first time there. I really enjoyed myself. All customers talk to each other like old friends. Clean and a really good time.
