Great experience for the ten 50 year olds in our group.

Complete beer list and delicious bar food. The macaroni and cheese and fried cheese curds were delicious.

placed a $80 online order, went in to pick up my order 10 minutes after the time it said it would be ready. stood there 5-10 minutes before someone came out and told me "it's going to be awhile for your order, we haven't even started it yet". I said then I want a refund. then proceeded to wait another 5-10 minutes for him to contact the owner for the refund because apparently only he can do them and he's not there. continued to wait for the refund now going on 15 minutes. at this point I should have just waited for the food. finally I asked the bartender to write something down that they will honor the refund because I didn't want to want anymore. he writes on the back of a receipt "refund for Friday". umm can you sign it and maybe put the date???? yes they were busy but I suggest maybe have more than 2 servers and one cook on a Friday night if you can't handle it. still waiting for my refund and they didn't even offer a coupon or anything.

We drove just under 2 hours to Stony Brook State Park, enjoyed the day and then decided to get some food at a local spot on the way home and picked High Banks Tavern. The food was really delicious. I would love to eat here again. Very intimate little place with one server taking care of about 10 tables plus the bar and they had non stop take out orders. Our server (younger gentleman) was calm, friendly, and hustlin! Our entire party of 4 couldn't say enough about the cheese curds, they were some of the best we've ever had, two of us agreed. My chicken sandwich was quite good as well, the rosemary fries get the MVP award tho. I am not much of a potato eater but I love rosemary, so I rolled the dice and I think they might be my new standard for a French fry. I loved them. Crispy, warm, and tasty. HBT is a great little place I'd love to be a local! We also really loved the new establishment next door, If you are local or in the area go check out Lewiston Waffles. We couldn't resist when we saw one walk by the window while waiting for our meal so we made sure to save room. Great experience!

Been here 3 times because I have occasional work in the area and never had a really good meal, but last night swore me off the place forever. Got a burger with tatertots. The tots came out in one large fused clump. I can't believe the chef would serve such a thing and i can't believe the waitress would bring out such a thing. The waitress even made a joke about it. The owner of this place is a fool for paying these people and for allowing such disgustingly food. Still got charged full price.

So this is one of the few hard reviews I had to do. This place came recommended by one of the locals, so we ran with it.

Let me start with service. Alicia, I believe, was amazing. She made we had everything we needed, constantly checked in on us.

Food, well I would not come here again. The tator Tots were spot on. I give them credit for that, as well as the clam showder. The rest was not good at all. I do not like onions, so the burger I ordered, I had them taken off. They still came with onions, the cheese was not melted, and burger was not cooked where it was supposed to be.

The atmosphere seemed confusing. I'm not sure if it was a tavern, an Irish pub, or a lotto place. Pick one and stick with it. It just seemed there was no organization when you walked in.

Overall, I would not return here.
