The Bronx was the best place for Chinese take-out. Manhattan was a close second. Gourmet Chinese Chicken was an alright experience. We called and placed our order and were told it would take 15 minutes to be ready. There's no delivery service. There's no dine-in service. Just take-out. Orders are distinguished by the phone number that was used to place the order. Everything in our order was accurate, nothing was missing. We got a couple of fortune cookies and could choose as many of our own sauces and place in our bag with our order. Come ready with a dollar if you have a sweet tooth or are going with a little one. They have a low table by the wall with a bunch of lollipos, and a sign that says they are not free and are asking for a $1 donation. The food was alright, nothing that blew my mind, but I ate what was on my plate. I didn't need to cook dinner that night and I didn't feel sick in my belly after. So, win-win. Just want some quick Chinese take-out? Check-out Gourmet Chinese Chicken. I would order from them again.
